The team
Our Strategy practice brings together several key capabilities that will allow us to architect integrated programs that transform our clients’ businesses, including Corporate & Business Unit Strategy, Technology Strategy & Insights, Enterprise Model Design, Enterprise Cloud Strategy and Business Transformation.
Strategy professionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win, in order to drive growth and enterprise value.
Work you will do:
Deloitte’s ‘Strategy’ offering helps companies address the entire range of top management challenges including pursuing new growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, channel strategies, and pricing strategies. As a Technology Strategy Consultant, you will:
· Provide strategic direction, understand business goals, and define how architecture can be leveraged to drive innovation, competitive advantage, and business growth for client organizations
· Work closely with clients to solve strategic issues pertaining to Enterprise Architecture and ensure technology architecture aligns with the broader technology and business strategies
Required Experience and Skills
Enterprise Technology and Transformation Strategy (Technology Architecture and Platforms - Enterprise Architecture)
· Assessment, setting up and operationalizing of the Enterprise Architecture capability
o EA maturity assessment
o EA operating model and roadmap
o Blueprinting of the Architecture landscape across business, application, data, technology domains
· Selecting and implementing one or more EA tools such as Orbus, LeanIX, Planview
· Setting up and operationalizing EA governance bodies such as the Architecture review board (ARB) and the technology standards board (TSB)
· Application and platform management
o Application/platform landscape assessment
o Application/platform selection
o Portfolio application rationalization
· Strong technology strategy athlete with the ability to build line of sight from business to technology and drive strategic conversations with senior business and IT leaders.
· Ability to develop reference architectures for modern digital technologies like GenAI, IoT etc.
· Good understanding of data architecture, data governance, and data related technology concepts like ETL, data lake
· Exposure to technology infrastructure services (on-prem and cloud) and the ability to develop relevant conceptual and logical architectures
Core Consulting
· Clear and concise communication - conduct client interviews, participate in workshops/trainings and present recommendations.
· Good client presence – interact and build relationships with clients and other team members
· Analytical thinking - ability to perform detailed, quantitative analysis and research (primary and secondary). Synthesize and present insights and recommendations from data.
· Logical structuring - structured approach to problem solving and ability to perform root cause analysis of client problems
· Deadline-oriented and quality focused - develop and own development of deliverables. own and manage specific work-thread, develop plans for components of engagement, manage and mentor junior resources
· Collaboration - Be able to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels. Be able to prioritize tasks, manage change in scope, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
· Network - ability to chart one’s own career and build networks within the organization
Required:
· MBA, MS, M. Tech. from a premier school in India or abroad, with a background in Information Technology
· Certifications like TOGAF, COBIT, ITIL are nice to have but not mandatory
· 1-3 years of relevant experience required (post MBA / MS / MTech)
