Work alongside teams every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and support in providing practical insights at certain stages of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
As a Senior Consultant, you will demonstrate deep expertise in margin transformation, lead and coach teams, manage client interactions, identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
Day – to – day responsibilities include
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify, assess, and prioritize margin improvement opportunities across revenue, cost, and operational levers.
- Design tailored strategies and action plans to address identified margin improvement opportunities, leveraging industry best practices and innovative approaches.
- Develop and review financial models to quantify the impact of proposed initiatives on margins and overall profitability.
- Prepare and deliver clear, insightful presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to clients and internal teams.
- Design and implement processes to track initiative progress, measure value realization, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead one or more workstreams within large transformation projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and team resources.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for mid-level and senior client stakeholders, facilitating meetings, gathering requirements, and ensuring alignment on project objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, and training programs.
- Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of deliverables, presentations, and reports before submission to clients.
- Coach and mentor analysts and consultants, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional growth.
The Team
Performance Improvement & Restructuring (PI&R) team delivers large, complex engagements that identify, design, and implement innovative solutions to support performance improvement, margin transformation, and restructuring programs. These programs typically accompany structural changes in a client's business and operating model.
Within Margin Improvement Strategy, Design, and Realization we focus on identifying and prioritizing strategic initiatives that reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency to improve performance and profitability. This includes optimizing workforce efficiency and effectiveness by refining the operating model, service delivery model, and organizational structure. We also support the development of transformation roadmaps and build business cases to justify large-scale transformation initiatives across key levers to drive sustainable margin improvement. We establish a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to build the required structures, processes, and tools to effectively manage the initiatives and track the benefits which drive the client’s large-scale transformation.

- Creating clear, executive-level presentations in PowerPoint
- Basic familiarity with Tableau, Power BI or similar data management tools
- Project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira etc.
- Ability to prioritize & manage multiple workstreams and deadlines while ensuring accuracy in analysis and deliverables.
- Experience in change management, project documentation (charters, and decision logs) & ensuring compliance.
