Join our team of Strategy & Transactions professionals to help guide Deloitte client service teams through some of the critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team helps deliver integrated support covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, M&A, and sustainability. Work alongside teams every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and support in providing practical insights at certain stages of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
Deloitte’s ‘Strategy’ offering helps companies address the entire range of top management challenges including pursuing new growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, channel strategies, and pricing strategies.
- Identify strategies for growth and value creation
- Develop appropriate business models, operating models, and capabilities to support their strategic vision
- Providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating, and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
- Contribute to multiple work-threads of large, complex engagements, with the high-quality deliverables
- Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
- Maximize the ROI on technology investments and leverage technology trends to architect future business strategies

Strategy professionals will serve as trusted advisors to our clients, working with them to make clear data-driven choices about where to play and how to win, in order to drive growth and enterprise value.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- MBA or other Master’s degree from a premier (Tier-1) school in India or abroad
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience (post MS / MBA), including focus on Pharma/ Life Sciences/ Healthcare
Strategy-specific Experience:
Enterprise and Growth Strategy – Life Sciences and Health Care
- Experience working for / with leading companies in the Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical / Biotech), US Provider and/or US Payor/Health Plan/PBM industries, OR Consulting experience serving Life Sciences and Healthcare clients
- Hands-on exposure of one or more of the following:
- Strategic capabilities: Corporate Strategy, Go-to-market (GTM) Strategy, Market Research / Assessment, Business Case Development
- Domain-specific capabilities: R&D strategy, Clinical Development strategy, Launch Planning and Readiness, Operating Model Assessment, Market Access Strategy, Pricing and Reimbursement strategy, Vendor Assessment in Life Sciences and Healthcare
- Interest and knowledge about the current trends in Life Sciences and Healthcare, especially pertaining to the US market
- Understanding of niche subject matter (such as cell and gene therapies) will be an added benefit
- Exposure to working in non-India geographies (preferably US) and / or interacting with global stakeholders is a plus

- Analytical thinking - ability to perform detailed, quantitative analysis, research (primary and secondary) and create business cases. Synthesize and present insights and recommendations from data.
- Logical structuring - structured approach to problem solving and ability to perform root cause analysis of client problems
- Deadline-oriented and quality focused - develop and own development of deliverables. Own and manage specific work-thread, develop plans for components of engagement, manage and mentor junior resources
- Collaboration - Be able to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels. Be able to prioritize tasks, manage change in scope, work on multiple assignments, and raise concerns/questions where appropriate
- Network - ability to chart one’s own career and build networks within the organization
Education:
- MBA or MS from a premier school (Tier-1) in India or abroad.
