Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Product Owner within ZoraAI, you will define and deliver user-centric finance capabilities, owning the product backlog and driving features from concept to production. You will be the bridge between SAP Finance/CO expertise, engineering teams, and finance stakeholders – ensuring every feature aligns to business value and platform vision.
Work you'll do:
Product & Feature Delivery
- Manage finance features (FI, CO, Treasury, Asset Accounting) as well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Drive backlog refinement, sprint planning, and grooming with engineering and global delivery teams
- Monitor feature progress, surface risks, and escalate blockers; partner with Product Managers on roadmap execution
- Support release planning, readiness activities, and KPI definition for finance capabilities
Domain Leadership
- Act as the SAP Finance/CO SME – bridging finance operations, FP&A users, and technical delivery teams
- Define financial data models, integration patterns, and business logic aligned with enterprise accounting and regulatory standards
- Champion financial process automation and UX improvements for period-end close, reconciliation, and reporting
Collaboration & AI/GenAI
- Coordinate with Engineering, Data, Architecture, and SAP technical teams on platform and ERP integration standards
- Contribute to GenAI-enabled features: automated reconciliation, intelligent anomaly detection, and conversational finance tools
- Define instrumentation events and success measures to track feature adoption and financial impact
Governance & Quality
- Ensure specs meet Deloitte enterprise standards, SOX compliance requirements, and audit guidelines
- Participate in UAT, demos, and acceptance reviews with finance stakeholders
- Establish and own a continuous feedback loop with clients, client implementation and support teams, stakeholders, and other relevant engagement teams, ensuring that insights and suggestions are consistently captured and prioritized within the backlog management process
- Support financial data governance, master data management, and compliance reporting

Innovation & Delivery Transformation (IDT) is Deloitte Consulting's engine for scalable, tech-led delivery. The ZoraAI platform within IDT operationalizes enterprise finance capabilities – bringing AI, agile delivery, and modern data practices to financial operations across the firm.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6–10 years in product management, product ownership, or business analysis in enterprise finance systems
- Hands-on expertise in SAP FI/CO: General Ledger, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center/Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders
- Strong command of financial close processes, reconciliation, period-end activities, and financial reporting standards
- Understanding of SOX controls, financial compliance requirements, and audit considerations
- Demonstrated ability to write detailed user stories, manage backlogs, and operate in agile delivery teams
- Proficiency with agile tools (Jira, ADO, PMOne) and excellent stakeholder communication skills
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Cloud ERP experience; SAP Finance/Controlling certification
- CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe POPM certification
- Exposure to GenAI in finance: document processing, variance analysis, financial chatbots
- Experience with financial planning tools (SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan)
- Background in large-scale ERP transformation or digital finance initiatives
Education:
- BE / B.Tech / MCA / MBA / M.Com or equivalent; Finance or Accounting focus is a plus
