Project Management Specialist
We are looking for a Product Management specialist, leading one of our central products enabling Application Modernization, with a focus on Mainframe modernization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of the product, meeting the needs of our project teams, clients, and business. As the product manager, you own the product end-to-end, owning the vision and roadmap and leading cross-functional development teams throughout the product lifecycle (discover, validate, build, launch, evaluate, iterate). In product discovery, you support the teams in exploring and understanding user needs and market demands and to increase certainty in the value, viability, usability, and feasibility of the identified solutions using prototyping and lean principles. In product delivery, you coach in building production-ready solutions with a fast, agile delivery methodology (e.g., sprints, release trains) and evaluating product satisfaction continuously. For that, you will be supported by the product architect on the technical side and by operation managers on all organizational matters. A speciality of this position is the focus on Product Management and Product Design, two disciplines that go hand-in-hand: you have a deep problem understanding, a strong sense about the business value of solving it, combined with a strong sense how the product must be designed accordingly. This combination puts you in a strong visionary product leader position
Work you’ll do
You are the "face" to the product, the single point of contact for stakeholders and the expert user of a key product of our product suite
You own the product lifecycle for the product end-to-end and drive its success: from discovery to ideation and build, to launch and ongoing iterations – you ensure the product is valuable, viable, usable, feasible and meets the needs and demands of our Application Modernization offering
You own the own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with key stakeholders (business leaders, project/delivery leaders, and engineering team leaders) and over-arching product suite vision
You inform inform your decision and proposals by triangulating data and insights (users, customers, delivery, subject matter expertise, business strategy, market, industry, competitors, technological opportunities) and ensure prioritizing high business value and strong return on investment of the team's efforts.
You drive innovation and realizing value from innovations in the products (e.g., infusing AI into products and individual solutions)
You define, track, and report on key product metrics and OKRs, keep cross-functional teams accountable, and make adjustments as necessary
You effectively collaborate and communicate with a broad product stakeholder variety
You contribute actively to product leadership, promoting and demand a product culture, fostering continuous organizational improvement, innovation, efficiency, and agility

Preferred:
- Bachelor's in computer science or information technology or similar field
- 7+ years of technical/B2B product-management ownership (roadmaps, specs, backlog)
- Hands-on experience with application discovery, portfolio analysis, or similar modernization tools
- Previous exposure to legacy-to-cloud or mainframe-modernization programs (enough to recognize common pain points and terminology)
- Proven ability to run enterprise customer discovery and translate findings into requirements
- Data-oriented mindset (comfortable working with asset metadata, dependency maps, lineage)
- Agile Learner with a passion for technology
- Working knowledge of Linux, Windows and MacOS
- Knowledge on tools such as Figma etc
- Hands on experience with one or more leading cloud providers (GCP, AWS & Azure)
