Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
The Senior Consultant – Insights within Deloitte Consulting’s Market Insights & Activation (MI&A) team plays a key role in advancing the firm’s insights-driven growth agenda. The role supports the Insights team in delivering high-quality, actionable insights that inform Deloitte’s go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning, innovation priorities, and ecosystem engagement.
This position requires strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and storytelling capabilities. The Senior Consultant contributes to transforming complex data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decision-making and enhance market impact.
- Supports the development and delivery of insights that address leadership priorities across growth, competitiveness, and industry trends, working in close collaboration with the Insights Manager and cross-functional teams.
- Conducts secondary research and data analysis using internal and external sources such as dashboards, reports, and market signals to identify key patterns, trends, and implications.
- Contributes to the execution of next-generation insights capabilities that strengthen Deloitte’s go-to-market and client engagement strategies, ensuring timely progress and quality assurance across deliverables.
- Collaborates with teams across MI&A, Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A), Research & Insights, and the Growth Office to align insights development, business requirements, and storytelling priorities.
- Maintains insight operations and knowledge repositories, supporting taxonomy, data organization, and the standardization of deliverables to promote scalability and consistency.
- Participates in stakeholder engagements to gather input, understand business needs, and translate requirements into research and analytical outputs.
- Develops presentation materials, reports, and executive summaries that clearly communicate insights and recommendations to leadership audiences.
- Contributes to team learning, process improvements, and onboarding of new members by sharing knowledge, tools, and best practices that strengthen overall team effectiveness.
The team:
The Market Insights & Activation (MI&A) team, part of the Firm’s Growth Office, directly influences the go-to-market motions across Deloitte Consulting with GenAI-powered insights, market-backed research, commercial strategy, and go-to-market activation. This team supports both the US Deloitte’s Growth Office and Growth Platforms. The Growth Office is responsible for all commercial activities, including marketing and sales. The teams work closely across these functions and with the consulting network teams to bring the best tactics to life based on key insights developed from internal and external data sources. Deloitte Consulting Growth Platforms (including Ecosystems & Alliances + Tech Relationships) is responsible for growing Consulting’s market growth with partners, with a specific focus on growing alliance revenue through industry and sector channels.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6+ years of experience in market research, business insights, competitive intelligence, or strategic analysis. Experience in consulting, professional services, or corporate strategy is preferred.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience working with research or market intelligence platforms.
- Strong PowerPoint and storytelling skills to convey insights effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, synthesis, and business writing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a matrixed environment.
- Curiosity and drive to connect disparate data points into meaningful narratives.

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Education:
- Master’s in business, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
