Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
• Contractual Risk Support:
Provide risk management support for contractual documents, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Engagement Letters, Change Orders, and Proposals. Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conduct detailed RFP analysis, and develop exceptions documents to address identified risks. Prepare contracting guidebooks and MSA summaries to facilitate consistent and informed contract management.
• Contractual Terms and Compliance:
Identify and summarize key contractual terms, obligations, and deliverables. Periodically monitor and report on contractual compliance, ensuring all obligations and deliverables are tracked and met. Support ad hoc risk-related activities as required to address emerging needs.
• Direct Risk Management for Client Accounts:
Serve as the primary risk advisor for assigned client accounts, providing risk consultation, contract review, and negotiation support throughout the engagement lifecycle. Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and delivery teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring alignment with firm policies and business practices.
• Global Member Firm Engagements:
Deliver risk review and management support for engagements involving Deloitte Member Firms, ensuring global consistency and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Knowledge Management and Strategic Initiatives:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core professional services, including IT, Managed Services, and Outsourcing, as well as evolving product offerings. Support strategic initiatives focused on developing and updating processes, tools, and templates to enhance risk management and contracting practices. Help drive adoption of improved practices across teams.
• Continuous Improvement:
Ensure contracting requirements are met in accordance with firm policies, regulatory standards, and good business practices. Contribute to ongoing process improvement and knowledge sharing to strengthen the firm’s risk management capabilities.

Quality Risk Management team provides support from pursuit through engagement delivery to anticipate, advise on, and mitigate risks and quality issues. This team promotes innovation, drives efficiencies and collaboration, and provides meaningful insights to manage risk and improve the quality in the way we sell and deliver projects. This results in market differentiation, improved client outcomes, and positions our business to navigate the growing complexity in our engagements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• 3 years of hands-on experience in risk management
• Law graduate or significant professional services/technology delivery experience
• Education: BBA/BA/BS in related field, Masters’ Degree is desirable
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in risk management
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office - Word, Basic Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working on full contract lifecycle
• Experience working on international commercial contracts
• Experience in identifying contractual risks and suggesting risk mitigations
• Exposure to contract language and risk mitigations associated with access to highly confidential client information including PII/PHI
• Experience in identifying business and delivery risks
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• Excellent leadership skills including ability to prioritize critical needs, act decisively, and handle a high volume of complex tasks within a given timeframe
Education:
• BBA/BA/BS in related field, Masters’ Degree is desirable
