Position Summary

Job Role: Product Consultant 

As a Business Analyst, you will independently serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, determine requirements, translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with all teams to ensure robustness, accuracy and consistency.   

By gathering requirements and facilitating cross-team communication between business and IT teams, this role directly contributes to the ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and ultimately, competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.   


Work you’ll do 


·       Serve as a vital link between the execution layer and the management layer, ensuring seamless communication and alignment 

·       Gather requirements by understanding & assessing user needs, objectives & pain points 

·       Translate business requirements into clear functional / technical specifications including clear use cases, user stories, workflows, design documents and similar documents 

·       Highlight / identify gaps in existing functionality / user requirements 

·       Support user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts, including test case development, test execution, and issue resolution 

·       Liaise with different stakeholders including the client / business owner, project manager, solution architect, developers, testers, validators etc. 

·       Understand the business justification for the product, client’s vision and future scope 

·       Act as a liaison between IT, Quality and business teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on system changes 

·       Document all the project related information such as Functional Specification document, Validation documents etc. as per the appropriate format 

·       Participate in Agile development process and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives 

·       Create detailed process flow diagram by collaborating with stakeholders. 

·       Work closely with Design team to translate user requirements and business goals into intuitive, user-friendly designs 

·       Develop change rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of potential changes 

·       Collaborate extensively across the organization, keep abreast of industry trends, continuously learn and adapt to new tools and techniques, and contribute to process improvement efforts 

·       Ensure the project milestones are achieved on time 

·       Drive calls with the Product Owners and other business stakeholders to gather product requirements 

Qualifications and Experience

Required: 

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus 

·       3-5 years of experience working as Business Analyst/Product Owner 

·       Jira 

·       Confluence 

·       MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) 

·       Business Process tools(Figma/Lucid) 

·       Understanding of requirements, use cases, and specification for features 

·       Familiarity with project management methodologies 

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels 

·       Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively 

·       Strong relationship building and team collaboration skills 

Preferred:

·       Should have experience working with diverse teams including IT, product owners, Quality and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. 

·       Should have experience working in an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment. 

·       Should have an understanding of user flows
