Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant

As an experienced Senior Consultant, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale change management solutions, and lead the creation of robust change strategies across complex program/portfolio change transformations. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate change requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full change management lifecycle, including estimation, planning, strategizing, delivering, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of change solutions.

Develop broad consulting skills; gather and research data; develop pertinent and thoughtful analyses; contribute to the creation of deliverables related to learning development / change management / technology, and large-scale transformations 

Develop conclusions from analysis; take responsibility for creating and leading portions of deliverables

Plan and manage moderately complex engagements; structure, review, and validate analysis, recommendations, and deliverables

Lead and evaluate analysis to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations and solutions, design deliverable content

The Team:

The Organization Workforce & Change practice focuses on transforming the organization to support its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move from where they are today to where they need to be in the future. This could include changing the organization’s culture, modernizing specific functions, and redesigning the organization structure. It will require a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of working together. 

Role and Responsibilities

As an experienced Senior Consultant, you will:

Design change management strategy (including communications and engagement plan, training strategy, deployment approach) for complex large-scale business transformations, tailored to client-specific needs and aligned to project success metrics.

Manage resource allocation on projects and their utilization during the entire change management lifecycle. 

Plan and regularly track status of change management project plan deliverables (inclusive of change impact assessments, communications and engagement materials, training plan and collateral) against project’s critical milestones.

Directly engage with client teams as a trusted advisor to conduct stakeholder and end-user analysis through stakeholder interviews and design role-based persona mapping. 

Conduct training needs assessment via conversations with client teams and subject matter experts (SMEs); develop training plan and curriculum.  

Track training curriculum progress and manage development of identified training collateral (such as training course outlines, storyboards, courses, delivery, and training evaluation).

Perform quality assurance across project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.

Supervise and coach junior practitioners, providing constructive feedback to support their professional development.

Monitor and report on change readiness and adoption effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics and suggest adjustments to user engagement approaches and adoption strategies. 

Monitor project risks/watch items, identify mitigation strategies, and proactively report out to senior client/project leadership teams.

Lead and manage firm/practice growth through firm initiatives and support on client proposals. 

Support sales efforts such as resource estimations, staffing models, etc. and own small sections within the client proposals. 

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in industry or consulting in learning and development/organization design/organization change management/digital and cloud solutions space

Substantial experience in project management, leading teams, and client-facing role

Ability to lead teams/sub-teams and perform quality assurance and reviews, with ownership of on-time completion of deliverables for yourself and your team

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences 

Excellent project management capabilities, including resource and effort estimation and risk management

Strong ability to think creatively and proactively recommend mitigation strategies to resolve blockers

Proven stakeholder engagement and team/relationship-building skills, with focus on mentoring/fostering development of junior practitioners

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner certification

Experience with ERP/Technical systems e.g. Workday/Oracle/SAP 

Advanced analytical skills, with experience of working on tools like MS Excel, Tableau/PowerBI, MS Access, etc.

Experience with survey and digital adoption platforms like WalkMe, Whatfix 

Experience with digital communication and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.)

Experience of working on Recording and Authoring Tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Enable Now, uPerform, UPK, etc.

Education: 

Required: BE/B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Preferred: Master’s degree (MA/MS) or MBA in Human Resources Management or related field from an accredited university
