Workforce Compliance (Analysts, Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers)
As a Workforce Compliance Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in providing advisory, implementation, and operational services to help clients maintain seamless alignment of HR policies and guidelines, with evolving regulatory requirements. You will work with Deloitte teams and client counterparts, leveraging regulatory intelligence and advanced analytics, to help organizations proactively manage risk, ensure compliance, and optimize their HR operations.
Core Responsibilities (All Levels)
- Conduct research and analysis of workforce- and HR-related regulations affecting workforce management and HR operations
- Review and analyze clients’ HR documents (e.g., policies guidelines, handbooks) to assess compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, standards, and industry best practices
- Perform compliance gap analyses, identifying areas of risk and delivering actionable recommendations for remediation
- Draft, edit, and update HR policies and employee guidelines to align with regulatory and organizational requirements
- Present findings and recommendations to clients
- Stay up to date with changes in HR compliance and operational trends
- Collaborate across technical and business teams, including clients.
- Travel as required by project needs.
Level-Specific Responsibilities
Analyst
- Support data collection, document review, and basic regulatory research activities under close supervision.
- Prepare draft summaries of regulations, policies, or compliance gaps for team review.
- Assist in preparing client deliverables such as presentations, report templates, and compliance checklists.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, interviews, and research sessions with client and Deloitte teams.
Consultant
- Independently conduct regulatory research and preliminary compliance assessments for client organizations.
- Draft and update specific HR policy documents and compliance reports with guidance from senior team members.
- Act as a primary point of contact with client stakeholders for day-to-day queries and information requests.
- Identify and suggest process improvements based on recurring compliance findings and client feedback.
Senior Consultant
- Lead major workstreams or project components related to compliance gap analysis and remediation.
- Synthesize complex regulatory changes and translate them into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Oversee deliverable development, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to Deloitte’s standards.
- Mentor and review work of junior staff, providing on-the-job coaching and feedback.
Manager
- Oversee entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Drive client relationship management and provide subject matter expertise during presentations and workshops.
- Develop and implement methodologies, tools, or frameworks to enhance the efficiency of Deloitte’s compliance consulting services.
- Lead business development efforts, including proposal writing, capability presentations, and identification of new opportunities within existing accounts.
Common technical skills: Python, ML, NLP, deep learning, cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps.
Preferred: Generative AI/LLMs, Computer Vision, Big Data tools (PySpark, Dask), Data Visualization, experimental design.Understanding of labor regulations, payroll compliance, reporting & documentation requirements, assessment methodology, change management and communication
Education: BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (CS or related).
