Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
- Experience in Dayforce HCM (People, Benefits, Payroll, WFM): Including security roles, system configuration, platform configuration, data updates, mass imports, system enhancements, end-user support, and troubleshooting.
- Configure Dayforce to meet business needs: Through new workflows, integrations, modules, and business rules (e.g., configuration of HR policies, Recruitment & Onboarding, Org setup for Jobs, Positions & Locations, Performance, Compensation, Policies for Entitlements, Scheduling, Compliance, Time-Off and Punch, Open Enrollment, Plans and Options, Payroll Earnings & Deductions, Payroll processing, etc.).
- Document, communicate, and train end users: On system changes and new processes/workflows.
- Provide payroll, tax, and process subject matter expertise: To clients.
- Effectively implement change control: And escalate major implementation changes in application and/or process to the client following standard implementation methodology. Continue learning of the Dayforce application(s): For improved use for each unique client.
- Provide input to the creation and updating of the Application Statement of Work and project plan.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of the mentioned Dayforce HCM
- Ability to bring both technical and business best practice: To professional services project team.
- Ability to break down complex problems into simple and actionable solutions.
- Experience with payroll input and calculation: Effect of imputed income, gross-up, expatriates, benefits, and payroll taxation including locals and hypo taxes.
- Be a team member: By providing payroll user experience with professional services team of system consultants and project managers to provide best practice solution for our customers.
- Perform configuration, re-configurations, upgrades, enhancements, end to end implementation, design workshops, design reviews, maintenance, system integration testing and user acceptance testing activities, root cause analysis, cutover, post go live support and hyper care for large-scale implementations.
- Act as technical liaison and subject matter expert with internal client organizations and peer technology partners.
- Support testing activities through the test environment, including maintaining a DEV environment representative of production through frequent updates of production data.
- Create and update detailed functional and technical design documents, plans testing implementation strategies, and documentation as necessary.
- Conduct production support, software upgrades, and regular audits to ensure compliance.
- Act as liaison for application upgrades and coordinate communications and training.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6 - 10 years of expertise in Dayforce HCM (People, Benefits, WFM) and Dayforce Payroll
- Bachelor’s Degree: A master’s in human resource management is desirable.
- Experience in building integrations between Dayforce and other peripheral systems: Is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally for extended duration of time (3 to 6 months).
- Demonstrated experience in HR Service Delivery, HR Transformation, HR Shared Services: Is preferred.
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
