Position Summary
Level: Global Business Services Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for leading a workstream to deliver high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements
Work you’ll do:
As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Global Business Services and Location Strategy team, you will:
- Apply your experience in Global Business Services (GBS) strategy and execution across Shared Services, Outsourcing, and Centers of Excellence, including location strategy
- Develop client strategies to improve process efficiency and drive cost reduction
- Assess markets to identify optimal office locations
- Conduct client interviews, workshops, and training sessions
- Identify and deploy relevant tools/techniques, including business case development and financial modeling
- Synthesize and analyze data to deliver actionable recommendations
- Prepare client deliverables and documentation
- Collaborate with global teams and frame key questions to address complexity
- Develop engagement plans and roadmaps, manage scope changes, and build strong client relationships

- Support and mentor junior team members to ensure successful project delivery

Must have Skills:
- 3-7 years of relevant hands-on experience (post MS / MBA/ CA)
- Strong core consulting skills: problem-solving, strategic thinking, effective communication
- Robust proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Analytical and hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach
- Ability to process and analyze large financial and non-financial data sets
- Ability to lead workstreams
- Proficiency in managing client stakeholders and presenting deliverables
Good to have Skills:
Experience in shared services, outsourcing, or global knowledge process firms; hands-on with operating model transformation, location strategy, or contract negotiations; ability to map and document current and future state processes; understanding of how business functions operate and how sector trends impact clients; understanding of cost reduction, financial modeling, and business case development; familiarity with finance/IT operations, project management, and process design; exposure to global clients, especially US-based stakeholders.
Education:
· MBA, MS, CA or PhD from a leading school in India or abroad
