Position Summary
Level: OneStream Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do
As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s OneStream team, you will:
• Lead the design and implementation of OneStream solutions, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with client business objectives.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders, providing advanced technical and functional expertise throughout the engagement.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, effective OneStream system architectures, leveraging deep knowledge of consolidation, close, and FP&A processes.
• Oversee and execute the end-to-end development lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Drive continuous improvement by delivering proactive support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for client OneStream applications.
• Manage project deliverables and reporting activities, independently prioritizing tasks and mentoring junior team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications
Must Have
• 6–10 years of hands-on EPM implementation experience, including at least 3–4 years implementing OneStream solutions: Proven track record leading or overseeing technical workstreams and delivering robust solutions.
• Expertise in building and optimizing metadata, business rules, forms, cube views, workflows, data reconciliation, custom rules, and reports: Ability to architect and review complex configurations for scalability and performance.
• Deep understanding of finance business processes: Particularly financial close, consolidation, and FP&A, with the ability to advise clients and translate complex business requirements into effective system designs.
• Advanced programming experience with VB.Net and/or Python, and strong knowledge of RDBMS systems (e.g., SQL Server): Skilled in developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing custom solutions and integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based SaaS and PaaS platforms: Able to design and implement solutions that leverage modern deployment models and integration frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to mentor junior team members.
Good to Have
• End-to-end project leadership on OneStream implementations: Experience managing full project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Design and delivery of application models for specialized planning processes: Such as sales forecasting, financial planning, and workforce planning, with a focus on tailoring solutions to unique client needs.
• Development of advanced business rules and automation: Including custom consolidations, intercompany eliminations, cash flow automation, custom translations, and currency overrides.
• Preparation and ownership of key project deliverables: Such as solution architecture documents, design specifications, test plans, training materials, and administration guides.
• Client-facing experience: Ability to facilitate workshops, present solutions, and build strong client relationships.
• Experience with OneStream Out-of-the-Box MarketPlace solutions such as People Planning, Capex Planning, etc.
