Position Summary
Level: Anaplan Manager
As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.
Work you’ll do:
You will be responsible for end-to-end project management of Anaplan implementations, including solution architecture, resource planning, risk management, and quality assurance. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will mentor and develop team members, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute to practice development initiatives such as go-to-market strategies, thought leadership and building capability.

Our team advises and implements digital finance strategies and technology solutions, helping clients enhance financial planning, analysis, and enterprise performance through a holistic approach from strategy to technology enablement.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Anaplan implementations, including model design, development, and delivery.
- Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 1, Level 2, Anaplan Way).
- Anaplan Level 3 Certified.
- Anaplan Certified Solution Architect.
- Proven experience leading large-scale Anaplan implementations, including solution design, development, deployment, and Hypercare.
- Expertise in translating complex business requirements into scalable, multidimensional Anaplan models.
- Experience interacting with senior business stakeholders, managing client expectations, and providing strategic guidance.
- Expertise in data modeling and integration of Anaplan with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) using native capabilities, APIs and/or middleware tools.
- Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and preparing deliverables such as design documents, test documentation, training materials, and administration guides.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage technical delivery with strong risk assessment, issue escalation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective partnership with cross-functional teams and business users.
- Experience supporting Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, including governance, security, model standards, and model lifecycle management.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in Anaplan delivery.
- Experience in managing and mentoring Anaplan teams, including resources across various experience/proficiency levels
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-phase Anaplan programs across multiple business functions or geographies.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and experience leading Agile teams in Anaplan delivery.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles, including leading workshops, executive presentations, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Experience supporting RFP responses for Anaplan solution opportunities, including crafting solution overviews, estimating project scope, and presenting to prospective clients.

- Deep understanding of planning processes across business functions (finance, supply chain, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of additional Anaplan product offerings (for e.g. PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow and AnaplanXL) and their implementation in Connected Planning solutions.
Education:
- B. Tech or equivalent from an accredited university (required)
- Master’s degree (preferred)
