Position Summary
Level: Oracle Cloud Integrations (OIC/VBCS) – Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Collaborate with team members to understand business processes and technical requirements, translating them into strategic Oracle Cloud application solutions. Architect, design, and oversee the development and configuration of advanced technical components for Oracle ERP Cloud modules, including integrations, reports, and data conversions. Direct fit-gap analysis, technical documentation, code development and unit testing, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Drive collaboration with global teams to deliver high-quality Oracle Cloud technical solutions and mentor junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Our Oracle Enterprise Solutions team partners with clients to modernize their core business environments, leveraging Oracle ERP Cloud, EBS, and other Oracle products. We work collaboratively to deliver projects that drive digital transformation, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes across industries.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills
- 7 to 11 years of technical experience in Oracle Cloud implementation or upgrade projects, with expertise in Oracle development tools (e.g., Reports-BI Publisher, OIC Integrations, VBCS/APEX Extensions, FBDIs etc.)
- Architect and oversee the design and development of enterprise-grade integrations in OIC with Oracle ERP Cloud, including REST/SOAP calls, FBDI/HDL file uploads, and BI Publisher data extraction.
- Provide strategic technical leadership and mentorship for integration teams, ensuring best practices and optimal performance.
- Direct the implementation of complex inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party applications.
- Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in XSD, WSDL, SOAP, XSLT, JSON, and REST for integration architecture and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Good to Have Skills
- Extensive experience with Oracle technologies, including Oracle technologies (ODI, OBIEE, OCI), Informatica and Oracle Cloud (SaaS), and Oracle certification.
- Deep functional expertise in Financial, Manufacturing, Distribution, and SCM modules.
- Strong command of industry standards, guidelines, and best practices across IT enterprise environments.
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.S (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
