Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) Technical Architect 
  
As a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO) Technical Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end D365FO solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures, ensuring alignment with Microsoft best practices. Your role will involve mentoring teams, optimizing system performance, and driving innovation through integrations with Azure, Power Platform, and third-party systems. 

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Architecture 

• Architect D365FO solutions (customizations, integrations, data migration).
• Design technical blueprints for Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing modules.
• Advise on environment strategy (Development, Testing, Production).
• Planning of Go-Live, Cut over and Hypercare.

• Demonstrates ability to lead a track & complex deliverables independently
• Demonstrates capability to identify and logically analyze complex problems, and work on best alternatives
• Leads conversations / client sessions effectively with clear agenda and goals
• Showcases impactful contribution towards high impact delivery innovation / efficiency
• Creates strong eminence & recall value as SME for a skillset / type of work
• Estimates accurately and identify dependent impacts

2. Technical Leadership

• Lead development teams in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, guidelines (X++, C#, .NET).
• Mentor junior developers and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Suggest performance enhancements.

• Consistently showcases deep technology stack / functional acumen combined with industry/leading practice knowledge relevant to project requirements - is the go to person
• Displays detailed understanding of tools and accelerators and is able to adapt/advise on which tools can be a best fit for a project, and drives efficiency
• Generates ideas on reusable assets / innovation utlizing latest technologies & GenAI and is able to drive their adoption with the project teams
• Independently Defines comprehensive processes to maintain deliverable and documentation quality
• Creates/leverages documentation like checklists to put guidelines in an optimized and systematic way
• Proactively recommends additional solutions with ideas and options applicable to client
• Drives design and delivery of solutions,consistently learning and adapt for execution
• Finds repetitive processes, identifies areas for automation, that would aid optimization and digital transformation

3. Integration & Customization

• Design and develop with various integration patterns (OData, RESTAPIs, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Automate workflows).
• Data Packages – recurring integrations, Extend D365FO using extensions, overlays, and custom modules.

 
4. Data Migration & Optimization

• Plan data migration strategies using Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Optimize performance via SQL tuning and code refactoring. 

5. Security & Compliance

• Configure role-based security and data encryption.
 

6. Collaboration & Documentation 

• Partner with functional consultants to align technical/functional specs.
