Oracle Access Governance Qualifications:

Work you’ll do

  • Partner with IAM stakeholders to intake, clarify, and document run-state requirements for Oracle Access Governance (OAG) (incidents, service requests, access campaign changes, onboarding requests, enhancements).
  • Operate and continuously improve OAG configurations to ensure scalability, security, and compliance, while leveraging prior implementation experience to design durable patterns.
  • Build and support integrations/connectors between OAG and enterprise applications, directories, and cloud platforms; monitor connector health, job schedules, and data quality.
  • Configure and maintain OAG workflows, rules, and lifecycle triggers to automate identity governance processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access certifications.
  • Operate policy and control enforcement within OAG: policy-based access, Segregation of Duties (SOD) controls, guardrails, and exception handling; support periodic control testing and audits.
  • Provide senior-level technical oversight and mentorship to teams executing changes; review configurations, promote standards, and reduce operational risk (e.g., change/release hygiene, rollback plans).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex OAG issues (performance, integration failures, identity correlation/matching, certification anomalies, entitlement/role mapping problems); perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes.
  • Ensure OAG operations align to security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR), including audit evidence and traceability for approvals and access decisions.
  • Create and maintain runbooks/SOPs, design/configuration documentation, and operational procedures (monitoring, alert triage, job recovery, campaign execution playbooks).

Required skills

  • Hands-on experience operating an identity governance platform, Oracle Access Governance (OAG), including access certifications, policies, and lifecycle operations; implementation experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with OAG building blocks such as Access Bundles, Roles, Access Guardrails, and workflows, and operating these in production with controlled change management.
  • Strong understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), user lifecycle management, access review/certification execution, and SOD concepts and remediation patterns.
  • Integration experience with enterprise apps/directories and exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) tool integration for request/approval flows.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) concepts (helpful for cloud app onboarding and integration patterns).
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills in an operate model (SLAs, prioritization, and cross-team coordination).
  • Excellent communication skills; able to create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Solid project management/organizational skills in an operate model (prioritization, SLAs, release coordination, and change management)
  • #Cyber_Cyber Operate
