Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Develop and customize Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) modules, themes, and integrations.
- Implement checkout, cart, catalogue, pricing, promotions, and customer/account features.
- Build and consume REST/SOAP APIs; integrate with payment, tax, shipping, ERP/CRM, and PIM systems.
- Work with EAV schema, product types (simple/configurable/bundle), and multi-store setups.
- Create/extend service contracts, plugins (interceptors), observers, and cron jobs.
- Troubleshoot performance issues (indexers, caching, cron, DB queries) and improve site reliability.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams, support code reviews and documentation.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce development (B2B & B2C).
- Strong PHP (OOP), MySQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS; Composer and Git.
- Understanding of Magento architecture: DI, layout XML, UI components, EAV, repository/service layer.
- Experience with GraphQL and REST API customization.
- Familiarity with caching (Redis/Varnish), OpenSearch, and message queues (RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Good debugging skills (Xdebug/logs) and familiarity with Magento CLI.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience with PWA Studio, headless builds, or custom storefront integrations.
- CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Docker, and cloud hosting.
Education:
· BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
