Client Delivery Consultant - Health Care Provider Analytics (Intellect Product Suite)

As a Client Delivery Consultant, you will be aligned to the Client Delivery team of Converge HEALTH’s Intellect product suite, a solution within the LSHC Studio in I&T. The Intellect product suite, inclusive of Revenue Intellect, Care Intellect, and Care Model Insights, is a set of subscription-based, hosted analytics solutions specifically focused on helping our health care provider clients maximize financial margin and operational performance through key focus areas such as revenue cycle optimization and clinical variation management. You will be responsible for the implementation, operationalization, and ongoing managed analytics support of subscription clients.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Client facilitation – lead clients through all phases of the Intellect client delivery lifecycle, from project kickoff/planning to data acquisition and validation, testing, training/rollout, and ongoing operationalization. You’ll be along for the ride as a client’s “best friend”/trusted advisor. Delivery management – planning, tracking, and reporting implementation progress using structured tools and methodologies. Trouble shooting barriers to implementation and day to day management of the Intellect product
  • Data validation/profiling - reviewing client data to ensure validity and completeness and working with clients to revise as necessary; identifying, investigating, and resolving issues and irregularities in data through both implementation and testing phases of a project. Ensuring data interpretations are accurate and well communicated
  • Client relationship development – establishing relationships with key client end users to help drive further adoption of the application throughout and at all levels of their organization.
  • Client training – conducting on-site Intellect™ training of client end users following application go-live, as well as subsequent version release trainings, and training of new client end users as identified on an ongoing basis
  • Insight development and operational guidance – using revenue cycle and general healthcare subject matter knowledge to help clients draw insights from their data and turn data into actionable change
  • Product development input – liaising with our product development team to communicate potential application enhancements for future releases that have been identified through conversations with both internal and external clients (i.e. voice of the customer)

The Team


The client delivery team is a tight-knit, collaborative team composed of both technical and functional (i.e. this role) colleagues working together on a daily basis to serve our clients.  As part of the team, you will be working with client stakeholders (health care provider systems) and Deloitte project teams to implement Intellect suite solutions at client organizations. You will help clients ramp up on the solution through on-site and virtual trainings, deliver managed analytics/operational insights to client organizations through ongoing (post-go-live) relationships, and promote the continued adoption of Revenue and Care Intellect. You will straddle the fence between business and technology, using analytical expertise and healthcare domain knowledge to solve real world healthcare business problems and provide operational insights to our clients

Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree from a top-tier institution in information systems/informatics, health care administration, or other relevant focus areas
  • 3-7  years’ experience in health care management consulting, health care technology startups, or other health care provider-related fields (e.g. revenue cycle management, health care finance, clinical operations)
  • Experience in improving operations within a health care provider, specifically around revenue cycle management (denials management/prevention, billing/AR, patient access, vendor management, etc.) and clinical operations/efficiency
  • Experience with coordinating internal and external stakeholders during the planning, management and delivery of technology projects
  • A strong ability to understand, profile/validate and wrangle large data sets, as well as concisely communicate and document the outcomes from these activities
  • Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills, and the ability to summarize the “so what?” within data
  • The ability to develop and foster strong working relationships with internal and external clients in a virtual setting
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong self and audience awareness when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • A willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, health informatics, information systems, or a related field
  • Working knowledge/familiarity and interest in SQL, business intelligence platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau), or other advanced analytical tools
  • Familiarity with healthcare data (e.g. EDI, bills, claims, claim remittances, EMR/interoperability standards – FHIR, etc.)Account management experience in a startup or subscription-based environment
  • Experience with presenting to clients across various levels and roles (i.e., early career level analysts through C-suite Executives)
