Senior Business Analyst, Senior Consultant

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will independently serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, determine requirements, translate business needs into effective technical solutions, maintaining continuous dialogue with all teams to ensure robustness, accuracy and consistency.

By gathering requirements and facilitating cross-team communication between business and IT teams, this role directly contributes to the ability to harness data effectively, enhancing decision-making capabilities, and competitive advantage in the market. You will be adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies which will help drive innovation, adapt to new opportunities, and continuously evolve in an ever-changing business/technological landscape.

Work you’ll do

  • Responsible for designing, solutioning, and planning the execution of projects
  • Oversee broader teams covering multiple projects to ensure cohesive progress
  • Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and milestones to key stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines
  • Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering and analysis to ensure a thorough understanding of user needs, objectives, and pain points.
  • Perform detailed user research and analysis to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
  • Engage in experience design and prototyping to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that align with business goals.
  • Prioritize the product backlog by evaluating features based on value, impact, and risks to ensure optimal resource allocation and project success.
  • Design clear and detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, workflows, and design documents.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and track project progress.
  • Create GxP (Good Practice) documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct usability testing and iteration to refine and enhance the user experience based on feedback and testing results.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among various teams, including development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Communicate and present findings effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding of project status and outcomes.
  • Facilitate PI (Program Increment) planning to ensure alignment of requirements and project goals across teams.
  • Create and evolve the product roadmap to guide the development process and ensure
  • Translate capabilities into value metrics to demonstrate the impact and benefits of product features.
  • Drive process improvement and innovation by identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing best practices.
  • Engage in resource planning and allocation to ensure that project teams have the necessary resources to meet their goals.
  • Manage stakeholder communication to keep all parties informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure quality oversight and compliance by adhering to regulatory standards and implementing quality control measures.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the BA team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
  • 7-9 years of experience working as Business Analyst/Product Owner

  • Product Mindset: Focus on driving product value and user empathy.
  • Agile Expertise: PI Planning, roadmap development, backlog prioritization.
  • Requirements Translation: Convert business needs to technical specifications.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: GxP, 510K compliance.
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, SQL, Veeva Vault.
  • Validation Documentation: Authoring/reviewing validation documents.
  • Quality Systems: Validation Cycle, Veeva Vault.
  • Analytical Skills: Problem-solving, prioritization.
  • Leadership & Communication: Team mentorship, stakeholder management.
  • User Research Skills: Conducting and analyzing user research.
  • Domain Knowledge: Life Sciences.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
