Position Summary

Level: Senior Manager or equivalent [Specialist Leader - Edge AI, AI Infrastructure/ Data Centers]

As a Senior Manager/ Specialist leader at Deloitte Consulting, you will lead and guide multidisciplinary, global teams and serve as a senior mentor to managers and junior staff with key focus on Edge AI, AI Infrastructure and Data Centers, and Hybrid Cloud/ DC Networking. You will partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to align solution strategies with business goals, contribute to sales and proposal development, and ensure rigorous management of end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, estimation, and executive reporting for successful project outcomes.

Work you’ll do:

As a Senior Manager, you will collaborate with client and internal leadership to shape solution strategies that align with key business objectives. You will provide expert oversight throughout the technical delivery lifecycle—guiding architectural decisions, driving best practices, and ensuring solutions meet quality standards. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, coach and mentor talent, and oversee project progress through executive status reporting and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, providing solution insights, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Our offerings include engineered transformation services for hybrid cloud infrastructure and platforms, prioritizing resiliency, optimization, and extensive automation. We integrate advanced connectivity with AI infrastructure and enterprise networks to boost operational efficiency and enable real-time data processing. Additionally, we provide comprehensive management of all facets of operations for hybrid cloud infrastructure and field operations.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

A seasoned technology and business leader with 15+ years leading end-to-end strategy and implementation with key focus on Edge AI, AI Infrastructure and Data Centers, and Hybrid Cloud/ DC Networking. Brings a balanced track record of front-end advisory – defining strategy, investment cases, and operating models – and back-end execution – mobilizing teams, driving delivery, and realizing measurable outcomes. Recognized for turning fast-moving AI and infrastructure shifts into practical, fundable roadmaps; building repeatable offerings and alliances; and leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs from concept through adoption and steady-state operations

Partner with business and technology executives to set AI and modern data center strategy, define target states and roadmaps, and build investment cases/ TCO and operating models
Identify market opportunities, shape go-to-market plays, build business cases (value, cost, risk), develop reusable offers/ methods/ accelerators, and strengthen ecosystem alliances to scale differentiated delivery.
Consistently tie technology decisions to business drivers –
faster time-to-deploy and time-to-insight, improved resiliency and uptime, reduced cost-to-serve, stronger security posture, and enablement of new AI-powered products and operations.
Lead Edge AI programs through use-case shaping, deployment models, operational ownership, governance, rollout waves, and transition to operations – covering edge inference packaging/containerization, resilience for intermittent connectivity, over-the-air updates, and fleet/node lifecycle management.
Guide modernization and buildouts with an outcome focussed lens – accelerator strategy e.g., NVIDIA AI Factory stack, cluster operations, high-speed fabrics (e.g., RoCE/ InfiniBand/ Ethernet), storage throughput, GPU capacity planning, performance tuning, and site reliability engineering aligned to real workload demands across distributed environments e.g., edge data centers, hybrid cloud etc.
Familiarity with fast change AI landscape e.g., Physical AI/ Spatial AI would be an advantage.
Steer adoption of modern delivery and run practices-Kubernetes enablement (including GPU scheduling), CI/CD, artifact/image registries, infrastructure as code (Terraform/ Ansible), observability (metrics/ logs/ traces), and SRE-style operating rhythms (SLOs, incident/change management).
Simplify complex trade-offs, earns buy-in across business /IT/ security, runs effective SteerCo governance, and maintains momentum through crisp decisions, transparent reporting, and strong stakeholder management.
Supervise multi-vendor, multi-workstream delivery with rigorous dependency and risk management (RAID), quality gates, cutover/transition planning, and benefits realization tracking.
Major cloud architecture credential (AWS/ Azure/ GCP), Kubernetes (CKA/ CKAD), networking (e.g., CCNP or equivalent), and security (e.g., CISSP/CCSP or equivalent); Terraform/ Ansible certification preferred.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Actively follows research papers, comprehends and innovates/presents breakthrough approaches/ solutions related to Edge AI, AI Infrastructure and Data Center domains
Deep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and AI governance practices
Proven track record in mentoring senior teams and driving technical excellence across large-scale programs
