Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
Configure and customize Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) products to meet client-specific requirements. Demonstrate proficiency in configuring Outage Management Systems (OMS) within the ADMS suite, ensuring robust solutions for fault detection, restoration, and reporting that address utility and client demands. Exhibit advanced knowledge in Switch Order Management (SOM), encompassing the creation, execution, and tracking of switch orders within the ADMS environment to facilitate safe and efficient network operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product vendors, integration development, conversion, and testing teams, to ensure seamless product integration and delivery.Facilitate and drive OMS and SOM design workshops with clients and product vendors to capture detailed requirements, resolve technical challenges, and collaboratively shape robust solutions. Product Configurator is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the project's overall configuration management (CM) infrastructure and environments. Analyze all requirements, create & maintain all business systems and documents and develop the configuration design solution and plan. Maintain product integrity, configuration control, and configuration status accounting. Perform unit testing on the developed configurations. Debug the defects/issues to identify the root cause and provide fix. Escalate risks and issues to the leadership on time. Define and deliver integrated solutions by applying proven delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall techniques. . Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in electric utility operations and control with configuration experience of utility products like ADMS/SCADA/OMS
- Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies
- Prior experience of working with product vendors, client stakeholders to learn about product configuration options to meet requirements and validate configuration
- Agile experience, building configuration in an iterative manner and validating with clients·
- Comprehends technical design specifications and possesses knowledge of development tools and technologies
- Documentation of configurations against client business requirements
- Proven understanding of highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real-time environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stake holders to gather product and business rules and translate into configuration logic
- Demonstrated ability to develop configuration models using configuration logic for new product introductions
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Worked on large project implementations involving a 3rd party vendor’s platform requiring configuration based on client’s requirements
- Worked within a cross functional team environment and supported other teams such as Testing, Deployment
- Strong analytical skills are essential, being able to synthesize large quantities and complex info
- Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
- Provide on-going maintenance to configuration models as product and/or business rules change over time
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
