Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions
Work you’ll do:
• Lead delivery for building and operating AWS infrastructure with reliability, security, and cost optimization focus
• Own operational governance for monitoring, incident response, and problem management; drive preventative fixes and standardization
• Lead automation of provisioning/configuration using CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible; implement auditable delivery patterns
• Guide Windows and Linux administration on EC2, including patching strategy, hardening, and OS-level troubleshooting
• Partner with development/operations/security to establish best practices for build/deploy/infrastructure management; oversee IAM, backups, logging/monitoring, and vulnerability remediation
• Lead Kubernetes workload operations on managed services such as EKS (and align practices across AKS/GKE where required)
• Drive ArgoCD GitOps implementation and configuration management; enforce version-controlled manifests for rollback/traceability/recovery
• Lead performance testing/capacity planning, documentation/knowledge base, and executive-ready weekly/bi-weekly status decks; coordinate weekend on-call handover/rotations

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• 6–10 years hands-on experience in AWS Cloud, CloudFormation templates, and Windows/Linux administration (Senior Consultant experience band from the template; skills aligned to AWS Infra Consultant JD)
• Understanding of 2-tier/3-tier/multi-tier architecture; IaaS/PaaS/SaaS; disaster recovery
• Networking and security expertise; experience managing IAM, monitoring/logging, backups, and vulnerability remediation
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Shell, and Python
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate/Professional)
• Understanding container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and operating workloads on managed Kubernetes (including EKS)
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• Application/infrastructure monitoring tools; end-to-end infrastructure landscape; virtualization platforms
• Chef/Puppet/Bamboo/Concourse exposure; knowledge of microservices/data lake/machine learning concepts
Education:
• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university

Shift Timings:
• Day shift; weekend rotational on-call support as required
