Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. On a need basis, you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members and liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs.
- Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery.
- Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation.
- Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training.
- Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.
- Build and configure, maintain and serve as primary administrator over a SAN/NAS based storage environment.
- Administer and configure Brocade Fibre Channel Directors/Switches.
- Automate, administer, manage, run and make reliable processes.
- Implementation of ITIL Framework (Incidents, Changes).
- Analyze requirements from Architect, SME, Client, Application team, etc.
- Work on monitoring, backup, patching, vulnerability remediation.
- Identify and assess technical issues and risks.
- Monitor the client infrastructure.
- Identity and access management.
- Identify, analyze, and automate routine tasks.
- Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW, etc.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to serve requests or resolve incidents.
- Implementation of high availability, update management, disaster recovery, backup and restore.
- Documentation, weekly/bi-weekly deck preparation, KB article updates.
- Handover and on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience.
- Understanding of 2-tier, 3-tier, or multi-tier architecture.
- Experience in managing data center components.
- Experience and knowledge with large scale Storage Area Network Systems (Design, Build, Operate) e.g. Dell/EMC, HP, IBM, NetApp, HDS.
- Experience on NFS/CIFS Fiber Channel switches Cisco and/or Brocade.
- Knowledge and experience on DELLEMC Backup IDPA tool & administration (considered an asset).
- Strong server platform knowledge in Windows and Linux.
- Expertise in data replication & snapshot technologies.
- Experience on monitoring tools CloudIQ, SANHealth.
- Experience with Perl, Python scripting.
- Associate/Professional level certification on Avamar.
- ITIL Foundational certification.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Understanding of application and other infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape.
- Experience on virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge on DELLEMC Vault, DELLME, HPMSA, HPVSA.
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
