Position Summary
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
- Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs.
- Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery.
- Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation.
- Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training.
- Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.
- Extensive Experience in installation, managing troubleshooting, and controlling WebLogic, Tomcat application servers both on Linux and Windows.
- Extensive experience in Configuration, Performance Tuning, Upgrade and implementing high availability feature for http, Tomcat, WebLogic.
- Monitor server health, logs, and performance metrics using monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, Catchpoint, Grafana, etc.
- Manage SSL certificates and configure secure web environments, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Build and operate the client infrastructure Http, Tomcat, Weblogic on cloud (AWS / OCI/ GCP/ Azure) or on premises.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Decent understanding of ITIL Framework Incidents, Changes, requests etc.
- Analyze the requirement from Architect, SME, Client, Application team etc.
- Work on Monitoring, Backup, Patching, Vulnerability Remediation.
- Experience in application deployments on Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache.
- Perform capacity planning and forecasting for Application / web infrastructure.
- Identify, Analyze, and automate routine tasks.
- Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW etc.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to serve the request or resolve the incidents.
- Implementation of High Availability, update management, Disaster recovery, Backup and Restore.
- Documentation, Weekly/Bi-Weekly Deck preparation, KB article update.
- Train and Knowledge transfer to junior resources.
- Handover and On call support during weekends on rotational basis.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Weblogic, Apache Http, Tomcat, Linux, Cloud Jenkins, Ansible,
- Understanding of 2 tier, 3 tier or multi-tier architecture
- Experience on Weblogic, HTTP, Tomcat on premises and Cloud
- Experience on Ansible, Jenkins, Git
- Experience on monitoring tool Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus
- Experience on Shell scripting, WLST, Python
- Associate/Professional level certification on AWS, Weblogic
- ITIL Foundational certification
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Understanding of Application and other infrastructure monitoring tools
- Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape
- Experience on virtualization platform
- Knowledge on Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git
- Knowledge on any cloud AWS / GCP / Azure / OCI
- Knowledge on shell scripting, Python, WLST
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
