Position Summary
Level: Analyst
As an experienced Analyst at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines.
Work you’ll do:
- Leverage proficiency in adjacent technologies beyond core skills to enhance project outcomes.
- Proactively identify and communicate issues or risks to team leads, and complete assigned technology learning on schedule.
- Quickly adapt to project-specific tools and gain understanding of client business processes or industry fundamentals.
- Support process improvements, automation, and innovation while maintaining up-to-date project documentation.
- Contribute to tracking delivery metrics and lead knowledge-sharing sessions on processes and technology trends.
- Participate in team building, defect management, and compliance activities.
- Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively engage in ideation and development of tools, accelerators, and innovative solutions.
- Build, configure, maintain, and serve as primary administrator over a SAN/NAS based storage environment.
- Administer and configure Brocade Fibre Channel Directors/Switches.
- Automate, administer, manage, run, and make reliable processes.
- Implementation of ITIL Framework (Incidents, Changes).
- Analyze requirements from Architect, SME, Client, Application team, etc.
- Work on monitoring, backup, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Identify and assess technical issues and risks.
- Monitor the client infrastructure.
- Identity and access management.
- Identify, analyze, and automate routine tasks.
- Develop understanding of SLA, SLO, SOW, etc.
- Coordinate with multiple teams to serve requests or resolve incidents.
- Implementation of high availability, update management, disaster recovery, backup, and restore.
- Documentation, weekly/bi-weekly deck preparation, KB article updates.
- Handover and on-call support during weekends on a rotational basis.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience.
- Understanding of 2-tier, 3-tier, or multi-tier architecture.
- Experience in managing data center components.
- Experience and knowledge with large scale Storage Area Network systems (design, build, operate), such as Dell/EMC, HP, IBM, NetApp, HDS.
- Experience with NFS/CIFS Fiber Channel switches (Cisco and/or Brocade).
- Knowledge and experience with DELLEMC Backup IDPA tool & administration (considered an asset).
- Strong server platform knowledge in Windows and Linux.
- Expertise in data replication and snapshot technologies.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Cloud IQ and SANHealth.
- Experience with Perl and Python scripting.
- Associate/Professional level certification on Avamar.
- ITIL Foundational certification.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains and apply technical solutioning and learnings across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Understanding of application and other infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure landscape.
- Experience on virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of DELLEMC Vault, DELLME, HPMSA, HPVSA.
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
