As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements

Work you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes across environments

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and configure cloud and platform resources consistently

• Support application releases through deployment automation, environment standardization, and release governance

• Build and improve observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and participate in incident triage and root cause analysis (RCA)

• Manage and optimize source control and branching strategies; enable developer workflows and artifact management

• Implement DevOps best practices for security (DevSecOps): secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and least-privilege access patterns

• Collaborate with application teams on containerization and platform readiness (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes), including deployment configuration and runtime troubleshooting

• Create runbooks, SOPs, and documentation; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce toil and improve reliability

• 3–6 years overall IT experience with DevOps / Cloud / Platform engineering responsibilities

• 2+ years’ experience with IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep) and configuration automation (e.g., Ansible)

• 3+ years’ hands-on experience administering Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu) in production environments

• Experience with containers (Docker) and exposure to Kubernetes operations and deployments.

• Scripting proficiency in Shell and one of Python / PowerShell

• Working knowledge of networking and security basics (IAM concepts, TLS, firewalls/security groups, secrets)

• Experience with observability tooling (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk)

• Hands-on cloud experience in AWS/Azure/GCP (one primary preferred)

• Experience with GitOps tools (e.g., Argo CD/Flux)

• Experience with artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus/Artifactory/ECR)

• DevSecOps tooling (e.g., SAST/DAST, image scanning, policy-as-code)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure associate, Kubernetes fundamentals)

• BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent
