Position Summary
Level: Consultant
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Continuously monitor health/performance of infrastructure and resolve issues
• Automate infrastructure provisioning/configuration using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible
• Administer Windows and Linux operating systems on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances
• Collaborate with development/operations/security teams to deploy secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions and establish best practices
• Implement monitoring and logging for infrastructure and applications; manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), backups, and vulnerability remediation
• Deploy/monitor/maintain workloads on Kubernetes; leverage managed services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) (and exposure to AKS/GKE where applicable)
• Integrate Argo CD (ArgoCD) for declarative GitOps continuous deployment; maintain manifests/configs in version control to support rollback and recovery
• Participate in performance testing, capacity planning, documentation/knowledge articles, and weekly/bi-weekly status decks; provide weekend on-call support on a rotational basis

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: <Not more than 1000 words in bullet points>
• 3–6 years hands-on experience in AWS Cloud, CloudFormation templates, and Windows/Linux administration
• Understanding of 2-tier/3-tier/multi-tier architecture
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
• Understanding of disaster recovery (DR)
• Networking and security expertise
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Shell, and Python
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate/Professional)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; Microsoft Office proficiency
• Understanding container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
• Understanding of application/infrastructure monitoring tools and end-to-end infrastructure landscape
• Experience with virtualization platforms; tools like Chef/Puppet/Bamboo/Concourse
• Knowledge of microservices, data lake, machine learning concepts
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
