Position Summary

Level: Consultant

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

As a Technical Project Manager, will lead and deliver innovative, cross-functional projects in Networking, Cloud, Edge Infrastructure, and AI domains. You will drive end-to-end delivery from requirements analysis and architecture through execution and deployment of complex IT infrastructure, cloud migration, and AI-powered digital transformation initiatives for clients across industries.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, focusing on enabling real-time data processing, advanced connectivity, and operational automation. Success in this position demands both technical expertise and strategic stakeholder management skills across global, multi-disciplinary teams.

Work you’ll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Lead, manage, and mentor cross-functional project teams (including junior members), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Oversee full project lifecycle: scope definition, requirements gathering, solution architecture, estimation, planning, execution, deployment, and closure.
Guide migration, modernization, and digital transformation programs including AI/ML, data platforms, networking, and hybrid cloud environments.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocations; track KPIs for project success.
Coordinate stakeholders from engineering, security, infrastructure, cloud, and business teams; facilitate communication and decision-making.
Champion Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban); conduct daily standups, manage deliverables, and implement iterative delivery.
Ensure operational excellence by enforcing technical standards, automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Actively manage project risks, issues, and change controls, especially those related to infrastructure integration and AI deployment.
Support field operations by integrating AI and Networking solutions for hybrid/edge environments.
Communicate status reports and program updates clearly to leadership and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in technical project management of IT infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end in fast-paced, client-facing, consulting environments.
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
Prior experience managing cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP), advanced networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), Edge Computing, Data Centers, or AI infrastructure deployments.
Strong stakeholder management and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certification: PMP, SAFe, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master) required

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

Project management or Agile certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, SAFe, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent).
Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer).
Technical background in Network/Infrastructure Engineering or Systems Architecture.
Familiarity with Agentic AI architectures (LLMs, RAG systems, AI agents), GPU orchestration, data pipelines, and AI/ML deployment frameworks.
Experience with organizational change management in digital transformation projects.
Exposure to FinOps, cloud cost management, compliance/regulatory controls.
Experience in mentoring and developing junior project managers.
Certification: Cisco, NVIDIA, AWS or similar certifications across Networking/ Infrastructure domains

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
