Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6 - 10 years of hands-on experience in Tableau with strong experience in SQL/Python/AWS
- Knowledge of database management systems SQL
- Experience in data analysis.
- Hands-on Experience in Python
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Identifies opportunities to use advanced analytics
- Advanced experience with tools and services , JIRA Collibra /Bitbucket/GITHUB Jupyter Notebooks
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that accurately represent the organization's data assets. These models may include entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data flow diagrams, and schema designs.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. Translate these requirements into data model specifications.
- Data Standardization: Define and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and data definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
- Database Design: Work closely with database administrators (DBAs) to design and optimize database schemas based on the data models. Ensure that databases are efficient, scalable, and well-structured.
- Data Integration: Facilitate the integration of data from various sources into the organization's data environment. Ensure that data is transformed and mapped appropriately to meet business needs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, data dictionaries, and metadata. Ensure that all changes to data models are properly documented and communicated.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with developers and DBAs to optimize database performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to data access and storage.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Carry out impromptu data analysis using Python, SQL, and basic AWS cloud skills.
- Must possess a fundamental understanding of AWS cloud, Python, and SQL to conduct necessary data analysis
- Expected to collaboratively work with fellow data analysts as a team and handle dashboards that are crucial for business stakeholders
- Must be competent in dealing with uncertainty and capable of devising KPIs and reports that meet industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data modeling and database design. Apply new knowledge to improve existing processes.
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc degree or equivalent from accredited university
