Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6-9 years of relevant consulting, industry or technology experience
- Proficiency in cloud architecture design in any of the given areas – AWS/Azure/GCP Architecture.
AWS Architect
- Experience in provisioning and spinning up AWS EC2 instances - on-Demand, Spot, dedicated instances, and cost calculation.
- Experience with server less architecture (Lambda), API gateway and RESTful services/JSON etc.
- Experience with one or more relational databases on AWS RDS – Oracle/ SQL Server/ MySQL and/or cloud data warehouse databases such as AWS Redshift
- Exposure to Data migration facilities such as DMS, S3 COPY, streaming, Kinesis, Batch • Experience in developing applications on AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to DevOps tools, deployment and orchestration technologies such as AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipeline etc.
- Experience with monitoring resources and applications using CloudWatch metrics, alarms and logs and tracking user activity, API usage using CloudTrail
- Experience with cloud assessment and migration on-premise workloads onto AWS.
- Expertise in AWS Architecture, Automation Tools and understanding of the agile development process.
- Experience in Migration from on-prem to Cloud using AWS migration tools
- Experience with VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
- Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recover design, planning and implementation for cloud infrastructures
- Exposure to one or more - Python, Perl, Ruby or UNIX shell scripting.
- Experience working with AWS Command line utility (CLI) and SDKs.
- Exposure to EMR, Elasticsearch, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Athena, WAF, CloudHMS, Direct Connect, Glue, Load balancer
- Expertise in SPARK programming using Scala or Pyspark or Java
- Experience with cloud security architectures – Encryption (Rest & Motion)
Azure Architect
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and a strong understanding of Azure capabilities and limitations with demonstrated experience in end-to-end deployment of MS Azure BI solution(s)
- Experience in migrating physical or virtualized workloads to the cloud.
- Experience in defining highly available, DR solutions in Azure
- Experience in assessing applications for cloud adoption and define Cloud strategy for enterprise
- Experience in using agile methodologies in implementing Azure solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Tools for system management, monitoring, automation, and agile development
- Design and develop robust, scalable solutions for collecting, analyzing large data sets, creating, and maintaining data pipelines, data structures and/or support of highly distributed applications
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure data platform, including Azure Data Factory (ADF),Azure Databricks, Azure Data Flow, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics / erstwhile Azure Data Warehouse (SQLDW), Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, HDInsight, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Purview, Power Apps, Power BI and PowerShell Scripting
- Configure large database solutions in Azure using SQL Server / Azure SQL DWH / Synapse and optimize the existing or new solutions as and when needed for optimum performance.
- Build data lake from multiple data sources with ingestion, data governance and auditing capabilities
- Experience in any of Programming/Scripting languages - Bash, PySpark, Scala, Python, PowerShell, Ruby – would be preferred
- Experience in defining cloud strategy for enterprise for but not limited to migrating physical or virtualized workloads to the cloud.
GCP Architect
- Experience in software development, professional services, solution engineering, and technical consulting with expertise in architecting and rolling out new technology and solution initiatives.
- Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning and experience with data analytics and data visualization techniques and software.
- Experience in GCP Dataflow, BigQuery, Dataproc, Datalab, Dataprep, Pub/Sub and Genomics
- Experience with core Data Science techniques such as regression, classification or clustering, and experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, Torch, Caffe, Theano, etc).
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be solutions in alignment with business outcomes
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural design and provide relevant solutions to the problem
- Enable delivery teams and act as mentor by providing optimal delivery solutions with automations and frameworks for improved productivity
- Implement proof of concepts to validate cloud concepts, architecture and requirements and environments (such as Apache Beam, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Flume).
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be solutions in alignment with business outcomes
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural design and provide relevant solutions to the problem
- Enable delivery teams and act as mentor by providing optimal delivery solutions with automations and frameworks for improved productivity
- Implement proof of concepts to validate cloud concepts, architecture and requirements.
- Knowledge of cloud computing includes virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks.
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience in Cloud Computing (Public/Private/Hybrid) specifically on Cloud first application development
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
- Experience maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments in AWS Cloud Platform.
- Experience writing scripts in one or more languages such as Python, UNIX Scripting and/or similar.
- AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Associate or Professional
Education:
- BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc degree or equivalent from accredited university
