Position Summary
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
Lead discussions with business and functional analysts to understand requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare technical architecture and design, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities. Develop solutions in line with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Create and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare weekly status reports for leadership review. Conduct detailed deliverable reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. Collaborate with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
- Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
- Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
- Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 6–10 years of experience in implementing Data Warehouse/BI solutions
- Expert proficiency with IICS – Cloud Data Integration Service (2–6 years)
- Expert proficiency in Data Warehousing (DW) (2–6 years)
- Expert proficiency in SQL (2–6 years)
- Expert proficiency in Unix/Shell Scripting (2–6 years)
- Intermediate proficiency in scheduling tools (Control M, Autosys, UC4, etc.) (2 years)
- Beginner proficiency in Python (0–6 months)
- Beginner proficiency in Data Modeling (0–6 months)
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Should have strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Should be well versed with Data Integration and Data Warehousing concepts
- Should have development hands-on experience in core IICS Cloud Data Integration service components like Data Synchronization Service (DSS), Data Replication Service (DRS), Mappings, Mapping Tasks and Task Flows
- Should have worked in at least one RDBMS like Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2.Shell scripting in Linux/Unix environment is mandatory
- Should have good understanding of IICS Architecture, advanced transformations like
- Hierarchy Builder, JSON/XML parser, Mapplet, Rank, Union, SQL
- Should have good understanding of IICS parameterization, Rest API, Exception and Error handling methods and debugging
- Performance Improvement skills on IICS and RDBMS are desirable.
- Should have participated in different kinds of testing like Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Should have participated in at least 1 end-to-end data integration implementation for a cloud-based application like Salesforce.com, Redshift, Snowflake Datawarehouse, etc.
- Shell scripting in Linux/Unix environment is mandatory
- Performance Improvement skills on Informatica / RDBMS is desirable.
- Should have participated in different kinds of testing like Unit Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Should be able to understand both ER and Dimensional models
- Should be self-starter in solution implementation with inputs from design documents
- Preferable to have experience in automation and scheduling tools
- Candidate should possess good communication skills. Should have experience working in onshore/offshore delivery model.
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
