Position Summary
Level: Analyst
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you’ll do:
Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

AI & Data professionals will work with our clients to:
•Design and modernize large-scale data and analytics platforms including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud, edge and AI/ML technologies, platforms and methodologies for storage, processing
•Leverage automation, cognitive and AI based solutions to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
•Drive operational efficiency by managing and upgrading their data ecosystems and application platforms, utilizing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service models to ensure continuous insights and enhancements.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications
2-3.5 yrs in requirement gathering and analysis, work with clients to understand current processes, business objectives, and challenges.
Strong SQL proficiency (querying, validation, reconciliation).
- Tableau (dashboard development, KPI storytelling, usability).
- Excel (intermediate to advanced).
- PowerPoint (executive-ready narratives).
- Jira / Agile delivery practices.
Additional Domain Specific Requirement:
Marketing & Digital
- Experiment design and measurement; program optimization insights
- Causal inference and advanced analytics: diff-in-diff, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables; ML/econometrics (e.g., XGBoost, Markov chains, bootstrapping)
- Causal MMM modeling; Bayesian priors; campaign measurement/assessment; dashboarding
- Ability to stitch Adobe Analytics and Marketing Analytics data to generate integrated insights
Experience & Loyalty
· Forecasting and statistical modeling to support predictive insights and planning; statistical analysis
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Develop compelling narratives and executive-ready storylines to communicate insights, decisions, and value realization.
- Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into clear technical user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes; analyze data to produce insights.
- Lead process mapping, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders and accelerate decisions.
- Define and govern data concepts (KPI/metric definitions, data lineage, dimensional modeling) to ensure consistent analytics and reporting.
- Partner with business and technical teams to prioritize work, manage scope trade-offs, and validate delivered solutions against success criteria.
- Design and deliver BI assets (especially Tableau dashboards) with strong usability, KPI storytelling, and data visualization best practices.
- Apply customer analytics across the lifecycle (segmentation, journeys, acquisition, retention, loyalty, and lifecycle metrics).
- Use Advance SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis; perform data quality checks and reconcile metric discrepancies.
- Use Excel (analysis/modelling, pivot tables, data checks) and PowerPoint (structured storytelling, executive updates) to support delivery and stakeholder management.
- Produce functional specifications and lightweight wireframes/prototypes to align product, design, and engineering.
- Bridge business and engineering teams with crisp written/verbal communication; translate complex topics into actionable plans.
- Define SLAs and non-functional requirements (performance, availability, security, resiliency) across delivery teams and vendors.
- Operate effectively in Agile delivery: backlog management, refinement, sprint execution, and tracking in Jira
- Have experience working in any of the business domains- Commercial/ Customer/Marketing/Experience & Loyalty (preferably in hospitality industry)
Education:
•BE/ B.Tech / BBA (Full time) / M.C.A. / M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
