Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a motivated and results-driven Manager to support our Life Sciences Commercial Operations practice, with a focus on modernizing territory planning, roster management, and alignment processes for our clients. This role centers on the practical application of AI-powered and advanced analytics solutions to improve commercial operations, including territory design and planning, roster design and management, and alignment optimization. The Manager will be responsible for delivering client projects, supporting business development activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Delivery & Solution Implementation:
Manage and execute the design and implementation of AI/ML models and analytics solutions in at least one or more of below given areas:
1. Territory design and planning, roster management, and alignment.
2. Dynamic targeting, Segmentation, Call Planning, Brand planning, and Business Intelligence.
3. Incentive compensation, quota setting, incentive design, and target setting.
Ensure solutions are effective, scalable, and address client needs.
• Team Collaboration & Practice Development:
Work closely with consultants, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Thought Leadership Support:
Contribute to Deloitte’s market presence by supporting the development of thought leadership materials, participating in knowledge sharing, and staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in a relevant field (life sciences, engineering, data science, business).
• 8+ years of experience in life sciences commercial operations, with hands-on experience in territory planning, roster management, and/or sales force effectiveness.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML techniques and their application to commercial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
