AI & Data Engineering

The AI & DE team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science, and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the offering portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets. 


AI & Data will work with our clients to:


- Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance & the integration of structured & unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

- Leverage automation, cognitive & science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios & prescribe actions

- Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise & providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights & improvements


MS SQL – Consultant 

 

This position is suited for individuals who can work in a constantly challenging environment to deliver effective & efficient work products. The individual will need to be adaptive & able to react quickly to changing business needs.  

 

Work you’ll do 

Design, write, & optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, & load (ETL) data from various sources.

Develop & maintain SQL scripts for data analysis, reporting, & business intelligence use cases.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, & business stakeholders to understand data requirements & deliver accurate results.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, & validation using SQL.

Create views, joins, aggregations, & subqueries to support analytical & operational reporting.

Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, & anomalies.

Support data migration, integration, & transformation tasks using SQL.

Document query logic, data flows, & transformation rules for transparency & reproducibility.

Troubleshoot & optimize query performance to ensure efficient data processing.

Ensure data quality, consistency, & integrity in all deliverables.

Work with visualization & BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to integrate SQL queries for dashboards & reports.

Provide ad-hoc data extracts & analysis as requested by business teams.


Qualifications Required: 


Education: Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science / MCA / M.Sc / MBA 

3–6 years of experience as a SQL practitioner supporting Data Management project implementations.

Preferred:  

Strong proficiency in writing & optimizing SQL queries

Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Understanding of data modelling concepts (tables, relationships, normalization).

Ability to perform data profiling, cleansing, & transformation using SQL.

Familiarity with ETL processes & data pipelines.

Experience working with large datasets & complex data structures.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail & data accuracy.

Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) is a bonus.

Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models.

Participation in client meetings & interactions is desirable.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams & stakeholders.

Excellent analytical abilities & a proactive approach to problem-solving.
