Assistant Manager, Communications
About the role:
Join Deloitte’s Enterprise Solutions communications team as an Assistant Manager, supporting key stakeholders with effective and creative communication solutions. Coordinate and execute impactful campaigns for complex projects, contribute to process improvements, and ensure consistent, high-quality communications. Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen stakeholder engagement, advance business priorities, and support the delivery of strategic initiatives.
The work you will do
- Lead strategic communications and project management: Drive effective communication solutions for the business and team, managing multiple projects simultaneously, identifying priorities, setting expectations, and mitigating risks.
- Content creation, review, and lifecycle management: Develop compelling and creative communications, supervising the entire content lifecycle (brief, build, review, publish, maintain) to ensure quality and consistency.
- Process establishment and performance tracking: Implement robust processes for communications intake, progress tracking, stakeholder engagement, and reporting on effectiveness.
- Leverage metrics, AI, and digital tools: Make communications-related decisions using analytics from platforms such as ICMD, Poppulo, Zoomforth, and social media, and utilize AI tools to optimize engagement and efficiency.
- Business and risk awareness: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the aligned business, Deloitte’s solutions and offerings, and associated risks, seeking input where needed to inform communications.
- Stakeholder and relationship management: Build strong relationships within the team, across USI, and with key stakeholders; collaborate effectively across teams and career levels.
- Support leadership and cross-functional initiatives: Assist senior team members in preparing for leadership presentations and stakeholder meetings, and contribute to communications programs beyond the regular scope of work.
Qualifications required
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in a communications function, with at least three years in a large-scale or global organization.
- Expert writing, editing, and storytelling skills; proficient with digital, audio, and video platforms, and familiar with recognized editorial standards (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, AP Handbook).
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams, multiple projects, stakeholder relationships, and deliver consistent, high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong collaboration, listening, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and creative software/tools; experience with social channels is a plus.
This role will be based out of Hyderabad.
Work timings: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. (IST)

The team reinforces the culture and brand of Deloitte internally and monitors our external reputation – intervening where necessary. They also play the role of a strategic and trusted business advisor for leaders and ensure that professionals are equipped with the right information in a timely manner to excel at work and enjoy well-being.
