CoRe Procurement – Sr. Analyst - Contract Center Of Excellence - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Seeking a high performing and motivated candidate to grow the Procurement team in India (USI Delivery Centre). This Sr Analyst role will be responsible for developing and supporting key internal stakeholders with Procurement projects in USI and global regions.
Additionally, the position requires the individual to become an active member of centralized team focused on the end-to-end contracting process supporting the procurement category management teams.
Work you will do:
The CoRe Procurement organization was created to drive the Deloitte Global 2020 Strategy by sharing investments and resources to increase our global operational performance, enhance cross-border agility, deliver strategic procurement services, develop talent, enhance operational performance and mitigate risk.
The Procurement Strategy and Operations group is seeking a Senior Analyst to be the CCOE primary contact within the team and a key team for managing contracting cycle and the stages involved in a sourcing and contract renewal procurement process.
Responsibilities:
- by ensuring that the appropriate information and documentation is ready for review by the member firm (MF) Office of General Counsel (OGC)
- · Participation with Global or Member Firm OGC in the negotiation of legal terms
- · Where requested, assist procurement managers (PMs) by drafting contracts, amendments, SOWs, NDAs, etc. in order to enable both PMs and OGC to focus on higher-value and/or more complex matters
· Review and evaluate business terms in agreements that meet the financial and administrative requirements unique to CoRe (includes various costs, payment terms, maintenance and support terms, etc.)
· Provide support to all CoRe and Deloitte member firms by reviewing and documenting the end-to-end contract review process in order to identify opportunities for process optimization
· Ensure that all required approvals have been completed prior to initiating the contract execution process
· Leveraging strong follow up and organizational skills where action items are developed
· Identifying existing processes that can benefit from the application of robotics and artificial intelligence
· Assess and assist with managing risk-related processes including Independence, Anti-Corruption, Information Security and more
Experience:
Requisite core skills
• A “customer service” orientation and the ability to work under tight time constraints
• Experience with the contracting cycle
• Understanding of multi-national business cultures and the desire to increase this skill set through experiential learning.
• Global procurement experience will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and make recommendations ranging from revising or creating a process to identifying contract risks. Good judgment is critical.
- Technical Skills
· Working knowledge of procurement contracts
· Aptitude for learning. Must be able to quickly understand new trends in contracting, such as social media, open-source issues, and analyze how they will affect Deloitte member firms
· Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio required
· Experience with contracts in Ariba a plus
- Teaming
· Liaise with CoRe Procurement team members, business stakeholders and MF attorneys across member firms in regard to procurement processes and challenges with goal of increasing level of process standardization
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- or Paralegal equivalent.
- Experience in shared services and/or professional services environment, with a strong client service orientation (whether internal or external clients)
o Prior experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or process re-engineering particularly on a multi-national basis is desired
· Demonstrated abilities in:
o Working independently in an unstructured environment; developing structure and clarity around the ambiguous
o Navigating through complex collaborative initiatives
o Understanding, documenting, and improving business processes
o Business analytics and management metrics
o Written communications (e.g., PowerPoint documents geared to management decision-making)
o Interpersonal skills/“Team player”,
o Working under tight time constraints, juggling multiple priorities
· Excellent analytical abilities: Analyze complex financial deals and contract terms.
· Excellent detail abilities: Requires ability to understand and negotiate minute details and nuances of contract language.
Location: Hyderabad
Timings: 2PM to 11PM IST with flexibility to accommodate business needs
