Senior Analyst – Operations, Data, Reporting & Insights Digital Data Analytics Innovation – Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Ownership & Execution: Lead, oversee, and optimize key operational processes across daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual cycles, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • End-to-End Automation Accountability:

Implement and sustain robust automated processes, ensuring operational excellence throughout the lifecycle and identifying enhancements for efficiency and scalability.

  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Optimization:

Diagnose, debug, and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, views, and other data solutions, delivering actionable recommendations and resolutions for sophisticated technical challenges.

  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with development and business teams to bridge technical and operational gaps, fostering effective troubleshooting and resolution of cross-functional issues.
  • Comprehensive Documentation & Training:

Develop and refine detailed process documentation and innovative training materials, promoting operational continuity, team self-sufficiency, and effective knowledge transfer.

  • Strategic Time Management: Exhibit superior organizational and prioritization skills, consistently managing multiple high-impact projects and competing deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Interface confidently with stakeholders, presenting analytical findings, strategic insights, and tailored recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
  • Process Excellence & Innovation: Proactively review and assess existing business processes to identify improvements and drive innovative changes.
  • Project Coordination & Leadership: Analyze project requirements for enhancements and optimization, collaborate closely with project leads, and ensure end-to-end execution meets objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Proactive Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely, anticipatory updates to stakeholders, proactively addressing risks, bottlenecks, and information needs for optimal engagement and outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance & Peer Leadership: Lead rigorous peer reviews of deliverables produced by Associate Analysts, Analysts, and peer Senior Analysts, upholding accuracy, compliance, and Deloitte best practices.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Act as a mentor and coach for junior team members, facilitating skill development and elevating the collective quality of client deliverables.

·       Continuous Learning & Strategic Foresight:

o   Upskill on new technologies and implement it to enhance the existing processes.

o   Build a strong understanding of global systems and client-focused data structures. Use this knowledge to find helpful insights and share them with the team to help discover new ways to add value for the business.

o   Actively update user stories and tasks in Azure DevOps, contributing to transparent, agile project management and prompt delivery.

o   Provide daily updates and progress reports to Product Owner/Scrum Master, driving seamless team alignment.

Required Qualification:

·       Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, e.g., Data Analytics, Computer Science

·       Lateral hires.

·       3-6 years’ relevant experience.

Required Skills:


  • Proven experience in designing, writing, and optimizing complex queries within MS SQL Server or comparable relational databases. Skilled in supporting data-driven solutions through robust query logic and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with data integration and automation platforms such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory (preferred), including development, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

  • Practical experience building and enhancing dashboards in visual analytics platforms, particularly Tableau (preferred), to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.

  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, with advanced capability in Excel (including formulas and VBA automation), as well as practical use of Access for database solutions and workflow enhancements.

  • Demonstrated strength in problem-solving and analytical reasoning, combined with clear, professional communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats. Capable of tailoring messaging for stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Work timings: 2 PM - 11 PM (IST)
