Position Summary

Job Title: Cloud and VM Solutions Specialist

Job Overview:

Our team is looking for a highly skilled Cloud and VM Solutions Specialist with experience supporting cloud infrastructure and virtual machine environments. The ideal candidate will also have experience with GPU technology or a strong desire to learn and enable NVIDIA technology/related 3D platforms. This includes visualization technologies (CAD, digital content creation tools, rendering) and NVIDIA NIMs/Blueprints that rely upon advanced GPU-driven workflows. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Virtual Machines & Cloud Infrastructure

  • Facilitate deployment and assist with management of virtual machine environments across multiple CSPs.
  • Implement automation solutions using advanced scripting (PowerShell & Linux Shell/Bash), and configuration management tooling for cloud infrastructure management.
  • Optimize cloud networking, storage, and security policies, improving operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-based virtualization issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.
  • Proven ability to interface with client facing teams developing, managing and supporting cloud-facing visualization solutions for the marketplace.

Security & Performance Optimization

  • Assist with performance tuning, system benchmarking of GPU workloads, and metrics collection.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and trends to improve scalability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Total 6+ and 5+ years in cloud solutions engineering with deep expertise in VM provisioning, support, Windows application installation, and Linux package management.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Linux OS provisioning in AWS EC2 or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience with core AWS services including S3, VPCs, subnets, and EC2.
  • Proven end-to-end problem-solving experience.
  • Familiarity with virtualized infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud networking.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

  • Relevant CSP certifications such as Solutions Architect or System Administration/SysOps, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with high-performance computing and GPU acceleration.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, AI-powered visualization, deep learning, and rendering technologies.
  • Familiarity or a strong desire to learn about provisioning compute infrastructure that includes NVIDIA GPUs with an understanding of driver installation and associated troubleshooting.
  • Ability to optimize GPU acceleration and high-performance computing workloads in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse platform for AI-driven visualization and simulation workflows.
  • Ability to work closely with teams across engineering, AI, and creative disciplines to enhance cloud-based workflows.
