Category Management - CoRe Procurement – Analyst - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited

The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact (CoRe Procurement) for internal clients. The Analyst should drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics, and delivering continuous insights and improvements.

This position is an opportunity to play an active role in the selection and management of highly visible and critical service providers.

Work you will do:

Serve as the CoRe Procurement point of contact for internal clients and support category managers to address procurement needs across the various categories:

  • Technology – IT hardware and software products and services
  • Real Estate and Office Services
  • Talent – Acquisition, contingent labor, benefits, and Learning & Development

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Procurement cycle activities across sourcing and contract renewals.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms; establish supplier contracts.
  • Understand supply markets and industry trends; conduct market assessments and due diligence.
  • Support strategic sourcing, including the creation of proposal solicitation documents (e.g., RFPs) and coordinating suppliers to ensure timely responses.
  • Establish and maintain analysis/tracking reports; monitor contract compliance and usage of specific products and services.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support leadership briefing documents, sourcing efforts, and supplier relationship management.
  • Support comprehensive and non-comprehensive AMCs – Annual Maintenance Contracts.
  • Work on contract/vendor management.
  • Drive SRMs / internal client management.

Requisite core skills

  • Strong experience and understanding of Pricing, Negotiation startegies, contracting basics and sourcing/renewal stages including RFx processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; able to understand contracts
  • Persuasive speaking skills and strong written communication.
  • Experience working with virtual teams in a decentralized environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, collaborative initiatives.
  • Ability to understand and document changes while working within defined processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team-player mindset.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints while juggling multiple priorities.

Technical skills, qualifications, experience, work location, and timing :

We are looking for a passionate, high-energy, and self-motivated individual who is accustomed to working independently and collaboratively on small and large projects in a close-knit team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in procurement/supply chain, including contracts management/administration.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.
  • Exposure to Ariba/other ERP systems and ServiceNow.
  • Client service orientation (internal or external)
  • Demonstrated abilities in:
    • Navigating through a variety of complex, collaborative initiatives
    • Understanding and documenting contract changes while working within a process
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain contract nuances.
  • Interpersonal skills / “team player.”
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes.
  • Previous exposure to vendor negotiations.
  • Aptitude for ongoing learning.

Location: Hyderabad

Timings : Flexibility is required based on business needs. Sourcing efforts involve engaging with vendors and stakeholders globally, so shifts may be 11:00 AM–8:00 PM or 2:00 PM–11:00 PM, with an expectation to extend hours during peak periods.
