Manager - Global Compliance & Reporting
Support on Delivery and Compliance
- Manage/Lead global governance and project management of Global Tax Compliance engagements and ensure transparency to the Client’s tax compliance and reporting process through a web-based portal.
- Monitor and ensure execution against specific client service plans developed for service delivery on each engagement
- Thoroughly and accurately work on issue resolution and manage risk
- manage local country issues promptly and in accordance with engagement communication protocol and,
- Work with the local/regional member firms in Identifying and resolving issues and sharing insights to improve our efficiency will be a key component.
- Partner with other team members to help identify new opportunities to leverage to your clients across multiple service lines
- Review engagement status reports which are delivered to client on a monthly basis
- Lead the conference calls with the client to discuss global compliance and obligation status and develop strong working relationship with Clients.
- Manage engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Create a positive learning culture, coaching and counselling junior team members to help them develop professionally and personally.
Support on Transition
- Lead the entire Transition process and share timely status updates with Partners/Director
- Work with the staff to set up the web-based platform (Intela) for service delivery tracking
- Work up with the local /regional Deloitte teams to track the transition status and track/manage scope discussion
- Drafting the Statement of work
Support on Pursuits
- Review the RFP and lead the setup of new opportunities in Pursuit Manager for a new client
- Review the fees provided by local member firms vs. indicative fees and go back to the member firms with the questions
- Get the client copy of fee file along with assumption ready for Sr manager review.
Qualification:
- Excellent technology skills-Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required
