Assistant Manager – ServiceNow - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
Work you’ll do
As a CL 4 professional at Assistant Manager role in ServiceNow Administration, you will be responsible for the governance, design, and ongoing improvement of the Enterprise Architecture (formerly Application Portfolio Management) process within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow's Application Portfolio Management (APM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and other modules. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions to meet our organization's business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain the company’s APM policies, standards, and procedures using ServiceNow best practices.
• Ensure timely review, processing, and resolution of ServiceNow tasks and incidents submitted by users, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address issues, implement updates, and maintain high levels of user satisfaction and platform reliability.
• Application Rationalization - Lead or support periodic analysis of the application portfolio to identify opportunities for consolidation, retirement, or investment.
• Collaborate closely with Business units, Product Owners, and Product Leaders, as well as ServiceNow Platform teams and ensure the accuracy of APM records by proactively making necessary updates and changes based on stakeholder input and ongoing portfolio reviews.
• Work with ServiceNow developers and architects to define requirements for new features, integrations, and process automations.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of the organization’s applications, integrating sources such as CMDB, business input, and automated discovery.
• Define and enforce data quality standards, perform data audits, and coordinate data cleansing efforts.
• Enable successful adoption of APM processes by delivering training, documentation, and communication about changes or enhancements.
Required Technical Skills:
• 6+ years of experience with ServiceNow (preferably with Enterprise Architecture-APM, HAM, LAM or related ITBM modules).
• Deep understanding of application portfolio management concepts and the end-to-end application lifecycle.
• Experience with enterprise data governance, process design, and process improvement.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and ITIL/IT4IT frameworks is a plus.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – APM, ITBM) preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated to improve knowledge and skills
• Works well both in a team environment and independently
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in ServiceNow process ownership, preferably with APM, HAM, LAM or related ITBM modules
• Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and ITIL/IT4IT frameworks is a plus.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – APM, ITBM) preferred.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timing: Shift between 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
