Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (USI Tax) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all the Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) U.S. service lines have obtained support through the USI Tax teams.

Work You’ll Do
The U.S. India Office of Tax Leadership (USI OTL) team serves as a dynamic orchestrator, collaborating seamlessly with multifaceted teams to streamline operations, facilitate strategic decision-making, and enhance productivity across diverse Offerings/ Business Areas. With key focus on reporting, financial operations, USI Integration and business continuity, it ensures an efficient and cohesive work environment while empowering USI Tax Leadership to drive success through effective communication and strategic decision-making. The team plays a vital role in helping Deloitte’s USI Tax practice set the standard for excellence in U.S. tax compliance and related advisory service capabilities. USI OTL leads key programs and projects that advance the USI Tax practice, integrate India and U.S. offices, and support the ongoing evolution of the U.S./USI business model.
The primary responsibility is to support the Tax Leadership Chiefs of Staff (CoS) across various areas such as office and leader management, communications, special projects, operations, and execution of strategic priorities. Work will vary as per the level.
Project Management
- Assist with project planning and management for new programs/initiatives.
- Collaborate with project teams and SMEs to create and update project plans.
- Review literature and market materials to understand client needs and project objectives.
- Develop and maintain trackers for initiatives, progress, and adoption.
- Manage planning timelines and milestones.
- Develop or enhance program content (e.g., overview slides).
Office & Leader Management
- Maintain templates to organize leader “asks” and meeting agendas, updating regularly with CoS input.
- Communicate information requests, track material receipt, and follow up as needed.
- Develop and refine content as requested by CoS.
Project Deliverables
- Prepare initial drafts of presentations, analytical models, marketing materials, and process maps.
- Update project plans, dashboards, trackers, and other materials regularly.
- Interpret financial data to formulate and measure growth and efficiency projects.
Strategy & Priorities
- Develop and enhance strategy content (e.g., slides).
- Track progress against goals using visual aids (charts, graphs).
- Develop guides for best practices and modern technologies.
- Draft communications for launches, frameworks, and status updates.
- Create and distribute surveys, compile responses.
Operations
- Retrieve, analyze, and summarize data from relevant systems.
- Create visual aids for reporting.
- Develop and maintain budget tracking templates; update as needed.
- Organize approvals, receipts, and related documentation.
- Conduct follow-ups as required.
Communication
- Prepare initial drafts of project communications.
- Document meeting agendas, key takeaways, action plans, and minutes.
- Present information using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Identify and follow up on action items.
Required Qualification
· History of strong performance in current role.
· MBA from a Tier 2 or 3 school; undergraduate degree is flexible.
· Excellent communication and written skills in English.
· Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with both the tools is a requirement.
· Ability to collaborate with professionals at various levels.
· Ability to manage variety of projects and high volumes of data.
· Strong analytical, logical thinking and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and communicate findings with clarity and precision.

· Tax knowledge is not necessary.
