Risk and Compliance, and General Admin Support – Analyst (CL3)

The Social Impact Group (SIG) operates within the Purpose and DEI Office, aiming to integrate and streamline Deloitte's social impact initiatives for enhanced scalability and community impact both nationally and locally. In this role, you will collaborate with Deloitte professionals from both the SIG and the Purpose and DEI Office to assist with pro bono engagements, sponsorship agreements, and donations for the nonprofit organizations supported by Deloitte at both national and local levels, along with handling general administrative tasks.

Work you’ll do

Specific Operational and Research Support Responsibilities Include:

Manage Approvals and Processing of Sponsorships and Donations:

  • Drive PDEIO-related risk and compliance processes and coordinate funding approvals for sponsorships and donation entries.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline risk and compliance processes using technology tools and process improvement.
  • Provide tracking assistance, including sponsorship and donation approval status updates and action-item monitoring, along with handling impromptu communications and scheduling for essential activities.
  • Assist with relationship management communications during the entire sponsorship and donation process (e.g., write e-mail messages, create gift agreement documents).
  • Keep the authoritative sponsorship and donation records up to date in the designated Customer Relationship Management system (i.e., Salesforce CRM), including tracking the progress of sponsorships or donations through the risk and compliance procedures.

Pro Bono Support:

  • Provide support for social impact pro bono applications, including extracting pro bono submission data from Qualtrics and entering the data into the designated pro bono tracker tool, as well as assisting with the review of ongoing and completed applications.
  • Generate reports for leadership meetings to evaluate the ongoing pro bono project pipeline and to evaluate pro bono applications.
  • Maintain continuous quality control of pro bono submission and project data within the designated system (i.e., Salesforce CRM) to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with data analysis and visualization for pro bono project measurement and evaluation.

General Administrative Support:

  • Manage centralized Microsoft mailboxes and receive and respond to low complexity / basic queries (including development of Frequently Asked Questions) related to social impact investments and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain distribution lists and organizational documents (e.g., org charts).
  • Perform annual evaluations of websites, accelerators, tool kits, and similar resources on internal sites, and assist with updates as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Any graduate or post-graduate with 2 to 3 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in managing and analyzing data, with the capability to synthesize information and draw logical conclusions, coupled with strong reporting skills (e.g., extracting data and generating reports).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; demonstrate initiative; and remain comfortable with ambiguity, as well as resilient in responding to changing organizational needs.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management platforms, ideally Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, to include:
    • Ability to use PPT to create visually compelling communications, frameworks, charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively share insights.
    • Proficiency in Excel analysis, including slicers, lookups, PivotTables, and macro creation.
    • Demonstrated experience in e-mail listserv management.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling project financial information and knowledge of project pricing structures.
  • Proven interest in the following key equity areas: education, workforce development, financial inclusion, and health equity.
  • Rich experience in working with global and virtual teams.
