As a Senior Analyst – Mac Engineering, you will support Deloitte’s enterprise macOS environment for the UK and Swiss member firms. The role focuses on Jamf administration, device management, software deployment, automation, and vulnerability remediation to help deliver secure and reliable Apple endpoint services. You will work across multiple technology teams to maintain platform stability, improve user experience, and support compliance requirements.

As a Senior Analyst – Mac Engineering on the Apple Enterprise Services team, you will be responsible for…

  • Deliver L2 support and contribute to L3 resolution for macOS, MDM and application issues, using structured troubleshooting and clear customer communication.
  • Administer Jamf Pro for the Mac estate, including policies, configuration profiles, scoping, Self Service, packages, inventory, smart/static groups and advanced searches to meet operational and security requirements.
  • Build, test and maintain macOS packages and deployment approaches, including UAT support for new software, configuration changes and policy updates.
  • Partner with Vulnerability Management and security stakeholders to identify, prioritise and remediate non-compliant endpoints through patching, OS/application updates and control enforcement, maintaining evidence for audit and compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation, including Bash scripts and Jamf workflows, to streamline recurring operational tasks and improve remediation speed and consistency.
  • Create and improve knowledge articles, runbooks and self-service content; identify recurring incidents and problem trends; coordinate escalation to internal SMEs and third-party vendors; and work collaboratively across infrastructure, cloud, endpoint and application teams.

The team

The Apple Enterprise Services team provides end-to-end support for corporate macOS devices, safeguarding company data and managing how users access and share information. This includes application deployment, configuration of profiles and policies, and Jamf administration support for the UK and Swiss member firms. The team works closely with infrastructure, vulnerability management, cloud and application teams to maintain business continuity and the security of the organisation’s platforms, and interfaces with business application owners to deliver MDM support.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or graduate degree
  • 3 to 6 years of experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, software distribution and end-user troubleshooting
  • Experience administering Jamf Pro, including policies, configuration profiles, extension attributes, Self Service, packages, scoping, smart groups, static groups, advanced searches and inventory reporting
  • Experience creating, testing and maintaining macOS packages and deployment workflows
  • Experience supporting Apple Business Manager and automated device enrollment workflows
  • Experience using ServiceNow across incident, request and problem management, and knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
  • Experience with endpoint security controls, vulnerability remediation, patching, operating system and application updates, and Bash scripting for troubleshooting or Jamf automation

Preferred:

  • Jamf 100 or Jamf 200 certification
  • Jamf 400 certification
  • Apple Certified Support Professional certification, or equivalent
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library version 4 Foundation certification
  • Experience with Qualys or similar tools
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
