Assistant Manager- SAP FICO PO- Deloitte Support Services
You will be responsible for the support and development of a bespoke SAP modules set up to manage the financial postings for Partners of the business. The primary role is to provide improvements to the existing solution to meet new and/or evolving business and technological requirements. It will also include resolution of business issues and deliver against the longer-term application roadmap.
In addition, you will be responsible for the maintenance, support and improvement of a wider product portfolio. It is your duty to ensure your portfolio delivers value to the company. In order to achieve this you need to understand and know how to keep the system optimised, supporting Deloitte practitioners across the country and drive your portfolio to deliver perceived value to the business.
This will be a challenging position and to succeed you need flexibility to communicate across different audiences as:

You will have access to the Deloitte infrastructure, through which you can tap on knowledge and expertise from numerous domains to drive innovation forward. To make most of this opportunity, we are looking for evidence of strong grip on the following skills:
Project Management – Understand what Project Management is, feel comfortable with the PM structure and controls, be able to manage small projects up to £30k. Product Ownership – Understand what Agile is, be able to structure work in an Agile form; its artefacts, product roadmap and map progress using Agile methodologies.
Requirement gathering – To be able to listen to what your stakeholders want and to be able to work as SME for the practitioners that utilize your software. Translate their need into technical specifications, that meet the needs whilst championing standardization and minimizing development.
Vendor relationships – In your journey you will be working with not only our internal Deloitte teams, but also with vendor teams so the ability to get the most out of anyone involved in your applications will be a key skill as will driving value for money from all suppliers
Service Management – You are accountable for not only the products you support but also the IT service they provide to the firm. This means you need to have an awareness of KPIs, metrics, and understanding how and when to escalate issues when required.
The role includes the following areas of responsibility:
• Provide functional and technical support for SAP R3 FI and CO modules
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP R3 related issues reported by end-users
• Configure and maintain SAP FI settings, master data, and transaction processing procedures to meet evolving business requirements
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new SAP S4 functionalities, enhancements, and custom solutions
• Conduct thorough testing of SAP configurations and custom developments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business processes
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP FI processes, configurations, and user training materials
• SME for your applications including an understanding of financial transactions, banking processes and postings
• Ensuring the smooth delivery of your applications and balance the priorities of projects, support items and change requests as directed
• Responding and resolving 3rd tier support incidents raised in ServiceNow pertaining to services they are responsible for within the common guidelines for all ITS services and presenting back to leadership the KPIs related to your portfolio, including incident management and problem management metrics
• Actively participate in internal improvement activities for your area, involving discussions with ITIL process owners and other service managers
• Participate in roll out projects of new systems, ensuring the project delivers a product fit for operation.
• Keeping the solution current to meet legal, regulatory and evolving business requirements and maintaining support process documents including Regression testing following annual application of legislative changes
• Gather requirements for functional changes, liaising with the internal customers, suppliers and technical teams to make sure everyone is on the same page.
• Personal compliance with Deloitte standards, external regulatory and statutory requirements
• Manage stakeholder’s expectations around your products
• Chair governance meetings and participate in Service Review meetings for your products
• Create a product roadmap that engages the stakeholder community and drive value across the company
• Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution
• PO Role , Where he should be able drive the 1 or 2 applications
Your professional experience
Essential:
• SAP R3 and S4 FI experience
• Strong configuration and testing skills in the area of SAP FI
• Technical Project Management exposure (small projects)
• Experience of business analysis
• Experience of managing Cloud based applications
• Experience of vendor management
• Strong at building effective relationships
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and willing to take ownership
• Analytical, logical, thorough and methodical
• Troubleshooting / Problem management skills
• Excellent interpersonal manner, communication skills & customer focused
• Ability to translate key complex technical issues into common business language
• Can do attitude
• Experience of full project life-cycle: requirements analysis, process design, blueprint documentation, specification of required developments, gap analysis, configuration, testing and production support.
• Strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to write at a publication quality level in order to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• BSc in Information Systems Management or similar
