Role Summary

The Deloitte Technology US is seeking a seasoned Cloud – AI DevOps Engineer who will work as part of a cross-functional agile team to launch innovative AI-driven Data and Analytics products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tools such as DataProc, Vertex AI, Databricks; they will work with cutting-edge DevOps technologies, develop advanced analytics products, and apply data and statistical programming tools to enterprise data to advance and enable key mission outcomes within cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure); Collaborate with team of analytics engineer, Human Centered Design engineer/Designer, web developer and data engineers to design and develop software products that transform global mission.

High Level Key Responsibilities: 

  • In this role, you will:
  • Lead the design and implementation of modern, enterprise-scale data architectures, leveraging advanced cloud principles.
  • Champion CI/CD pipelines, driving continuous integration and deployment practices within our DevOps environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define data collection strategies, aligning data analytics objectives with optimal techniques.
  • Optimize data collection procedures, ensuring adherence to stringent data security and privacy standards while maximizing data relevance.
  • Explore and implement innovative data collection methods, leveraging both traditional and unconventional approaches while implementing robust security measures
  • Provide holistic support for a diverse portfolio of applications, understanding complex product requirements and driving seamless integration.
  • Foster consistency and best practices across development teams, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows while monitoring the health and performance of applications and infrastructure
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions, crafting detailed specifications for developers and testers.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows across the development and operation lifecycle using tools like Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Compute and/or Kubernetes Engines.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of highly skilled back-end engineers, delivering sprint goals with precision.
  • Champion Deloitte's strategic vision, contributing to the development of industry-leading products and solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Deployment Management, and DevOps tools and technologies like Docker and Jenkins
  • 6+ years of scripting proficiency in python, Bash or Shell and architecture experience
  • 7+ years of experience in networking and security in GCP and/or AWS.
  • 7 + years of CICD pipeline experience
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud engineering tools Azure (Azure Blob Studio, Azure Grid, CloudHub, Azure Monitor, AKS) , or GCP (GCP Deployment Manager, Terraform, Vertex AI, Google Compute Engine, Google App Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, DataProc, ) , or AWS (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodeStar)
  • 7+ years proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience
  • Experience with integrating Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, any other BI tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Good at engaging Business stakeholders and apt at Business engagement and requirement discovery
