Deputy Manager – Team Lead, Strategic priorities Support Hub
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and project management experience to join our team in Hyderabad, India. As a Deputy Manager, you will lead the Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub team in Hyderabad. The team provides project management, research, reporting, technology, and marketing & communications support to various strategic teams within Global Tax & Legal. In this role, you will create high-visibility reports and deliverables to help teams with their strategies. With your guidance, Tax and Legal leaders can optimize their strategy and focus on strengthening Deloitte’s position in the market.
What you’ll do
· Ability to effectively lead a team and manage the complex projects end-to-end.
· Manage quality assurance for all projects delivered from the team - balance quality of work with meeting deadlines
· Onboard and manage training of new hires, prepare training plans, materials and case studies
· Align the right work with the right professionals, delegate tasks according to team member’s strengths
· Identify process development and automation opportunities within the team to enhance efficiency and productivity
· Adopt consultative mindset to identify specific client needs and interact with internal/external teams across member firms within Deloitte.
· Provide strategic insights to provide direction to leadership in decision making.
· Analyze market trends and provides analysis of its impact on our business.
· Develop business solutions (analysis, reports, insights, research) that help leadership in setting direction for Tax & Legal business growth.
· Engage in requirement discussion with senior people such as Sr. Managers and PPMDs.
· Conduct performance management and counseling
· Collaborate effectively and purposefully across teams and career levels
· Contribute to develop reports that meets the leadership requirements.
· Use the SOP documents in developing the standard requests/ reports (wherever applicable).
The Team - Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub (GTL SPSH)
The Global Tax & Legal Strategic Priorities Support Hub team supports the various strategic priorities of Global Tax & Legal business. The team has diverse skillset to ensure that the priority initiatives are seamlessly executed. We provide PMO supports, reporting and analytics support, business research support, as well as marketing and communications support to the leaders, which enables the success of these priorities. Our involvement helps Global Tax and Legal leaders grow the Deloitte footprint across geographies with their clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong competence in the following areas:

· Consultative mindset and the ability to advise leadership on relevant insights to enhance strategy
· Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with leadership (PPMDs).
· Enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to deliver a consistent high level of performance
· Forward thinking and proactive attitude with a keen focus on innovation – open to new ideas
· Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to structure, organize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful strategic insights
· Exceptional attention to detail and willing to work in a demanding and results-oriented global business environment with frequently changing priorities
· Collaborative with proven ability to work with and gain support and commitment from others – even without formal authority – and build relationships
· Highly articulate with superior interpersonal and presentation abilities, together with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to use grammatically correct, clear, and neutral language to convey the message in a logical and concise manner
· Ability to work under strict deadlines, prioritize and multitask work assignments, take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced environment, and adhere to strict internal quality assurance processes
Education Qualification & Experience Required:
Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in any discipline.
Experience: Total: 7 – 9yrs
Ø Experience in managing multiple complex projects with strict timelines.
Ø Have an ability to provide strategic insights to leadership
Ø Effectively communicate with leadership and all stakeholders.
Ø Ability to present data analysis in intuitive graphical and tabular formats. Experience with Tableau or similar tools will be an advantage
Ø Mastery in Microsoft office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Location – Hyderabad
Shift Timings – 2PM to 11PM
