Position Summary

CRM Senior Analyst – Government and Public Services (GPS)

The GPS CRM Senior Analyst is responsible for working with GPS Executive and Sector Leadership; National, Industry, FSS, and Regional Super Users/Information Managers; and a variety of other stakeholder within the firm to advance the use of CRM as a business management and reporting tool. This individual will need to establish a core GPS CRM reporting capability that can be enhanced as data quality and reporting requirements mature; develop these reports with specific attributes related to metrics and report constructs relevant to the overall GPS Practice, as well as GPS Functions, Sectors, Accounts, and Service Areas; and work with various stakeholder organizations to verify and incorporate the core operating metrics necessary to support this reporting framework.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Provide key management reports and analyses to support effective practice development strategy and management decisions
    • Prepare reports and analysis of the open pipeline, and the win/loss outcomes on both weekly and periodic basis
    • Contribute to the design and development of new pipeline reports, analysis, dashboards and predictive analytics to meet the ever-evolving need for improved performance information
    • Maintain the CRM reporting archives
    • Address ad hoc analysis requests from leaders and stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance on CRM to the GPS Practice and assigned Sectors
    • Develop and maintain GPS CRM guidance documents
    • Develop and deliver CRM training for the USI GPS CRM user community
    • Contribute to process improvements, projects, and initiatives as assigned
  • Provide business information management support through award bookings
    • Ensure the business information complies with Deloitte standards and procedures
    • Maintain consistency and accuracy of the contract information in the CRM opportunities
    • Coordinate with pursuit teams and CAMs to resolve the discrepancies in CRM

Key skills and professional experience:

  • Candidate should possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in reporting and dashboard services
  • Data analysis and visualization skills with ability to work on large data sets
  • Ability to create complex Tableau dashboards is must
  • Ability to synthesize, organize and present information in structured manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Business English
  • Attention to detail and adherence to quality guidelines, standards and best practices
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Advanced Excel (VBA/Macros) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, including certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or CRMA, will be added advantage
  • Skills in Python, SQL & Snowflake will be an added advantage
  • Ability to understand contract/awards documents and convert it into business relevant information
  • Excellent team player with experience working and driving conversations with virtual teams, including proven ability to collaborate with a US based team
  • Prompt decision making and providing the necessary justification for actions taken on the opportunities reviewed
  • Knowledge of the US Government marketplace and policy areas such as government spending, health care, education, human services, digitalization will be an advantage
  • Understand and quickly adapt to the changing business requirements/priorities

Work you’ll do

As a CRM Senior Analyst in the Government and Public Services (GPS) USI team, you will provide CRM reporting and dashboard services, ensure compliance of business information in CRM, enhance knowledge sharing, collaboration and visibility of the GPS group.

You should demonstrate an analytical mindset, strong business communication and presentation skills, be team- oriented, and have a proven ability to manage competing demands simultaneously.

The team

The Government and Public Services (GPS) team provides solutions in support of market positioning and business acquisition activities to maximize Deloitte’s revenue, relationships, and reputation in the Government marketplace. The team works in collaboration with the US stakeholders in identifying and tracking opportunities, account spending and opportunity analysis, as well as competitive and market intelligence support for GPS pursuits. In addition, the team also offers pursuit support for GPS emerging market accounts in the areas of information management, compliance and staffing related activities. The team works closely with the US GPS channels including Marketing and Communications, Information Management, Account Management, Competitive & Market Intelligence, Pursuits, and Strategy.
