Work you will do:

As part of the TBM-Assistant Manager-Level4 your responsibilities include:

Service Area and Portfolio Financials:

·       Budgeting Support: Assist in the development and management of the ITS annual budget. Collaborate with TBM Senior Managers and ITS leaders to gather cost estimates, track expenses, and contribute to the creation of budget reports.                        

·       Financial Reporting: Assist in generating regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. These reports should include key performance indicators (KPIs), budget vs. actual comparisons, and financial forecasts.

·       Variance Analysis: Participate in the analysis of variances between budgeted and actual expenses. Investigate discrepancies and contribute to the development of action plans to address financial variances.

·       Capital Expenditure Tracking: Support the management of the capital expenditure (CapEx) budget for ITS projects. Assist in tracking Capex spending and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.

·       ITS Portfolio Support: Contribute to the evaluation of the financial performance of the IT portfolios and projects. Help identify underperforming projects and provide input on adjustments or reallocation of resources.

·        Financial Compliance: Help ensure that financial practices within the ITS service areas and portfolios comply with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

·       Communication: Assist in communicating ITS financial performance, challenges, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders. Provide input and data to support decision-making.            

·        Ad Hoc Analysis: Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and modeling as requested by senior management to support strategic decision-making.                    

·       Training and Development: Continuously develop skills and knowledge in financial planning and analysis, staying current with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Technology Business Management:                                                                                        

The Technology Business Management is the engine of the ITS organization, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and fiscally-sound technology operation. By aligning the IT budget with the enterprise's business strategy, the organization can shift its focus from perceiving IT as a cost center to recognizing it as a valuable resource that aids in the achievement of strategic objectives.

Qualifications: B.COM, M.COM, MBA(Finance), CA, CMA or Equivalent Degree

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CA/CMA MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in financial management and 2+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel
  • Experience with financial systems and tools (preferably ERP systems, SAP).
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to a global audience.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Data analytics and/or Tableau experience is preferred.

Experience: 6-8 years of experience in financial management.
